Have it 2 days it's really unique that's for sure, but because of that I need time with it... I get a playful 🍐 with a lot of fresh green DNA but on all of that it has something elegant on dry down... I don't get it... It's like a new DNA

@@mohamedboukhary9942They are very different, EDP is warmer more elegant perfume and vive's is modern fruit that all ages can get. Also vive's is all year wearing, EDP in my opinion not. To me better is EDP but harder for masses to like. Vive is more masses friendly.

Very good review of this one. I might sample it when I get a chance and see. Honestly, I'm not a huge Hermes fan myself (H24 as a whole is not at all appealing to me) however I have huge respect for Mr. Ellena's legacy in perfumery (his book is amazing, btw). Somehow, I've always found myself enjoying the women Hermes fragrances more (not on me, mind you).

I look so forward for this. I love h24 edt, but I didn’t enjoyed the edp. What I can recommend from Hermes is Agar Ebene. A georgeous oud scent

@@rottenrebels it is very a simpel by Christine Nagel : only balsam fir and oud are the ingredients. It is not stinky, descend. For me light sweet. To me it’s very unique, classy. I have only a sample of it. It belongs to their Hermessence line. There ist also another oud- fragrance coming by hermes: Hermessence oud Alezan.

Great review, honest and fair. I did read that 2024 would see a trend in “green” fragrances, so far nothing great. Maybe JPG Le Beau Paradise Garden or Narcisso Rodriguez Vetiver Musc will do the job? I do like Terre D’Hermes Parfum but wasn’t a fan of the H24 OG, this offering won’t be on the wish list. @rottenrebels lol you got me. You will never forget Sultan Vetiver 😬 (neither will I). I'll let you know what I think of Herbes Vives when I eventually get it. I almost bought it a few days ago but bought a few Rojas instead so my February budget is already blown at the end of Jan. 😂

I knew what I was getting into when I blind bought Sultan Vetiver.. 😂 Some fragrances can go either way and you don't know until you try. 👀 I've actually worn it quite a bit to get to know it (been some time though). Will most likely do a review of it someday. That's quite an intense vetiver that's woody and kinda earthy in a way that this (Herbes Vives) is not. This (at least to me) is quite a light kind of green with a fruity touch and a bit of freshness. Very different. 😉 What are the top 3 absolute bangers you bought lately that you would recommend me? @rottenrebels Just realised that I hadn't responded. Recent, absolute bangers (I have several) would have to be Roja Elysium Parfum, Roja Burlington 1819, Bvlgari Tygar, Dior Tobacolor, YSL Babycat, Matiere Premiere Encens Suave and Zaharoff Signature Black Rose.

H.24 is just awesome-I'm a fan of all its versions. Christine Nagel is like my perfume wizard; seriously, her stuff is magical. I don't get why some people diss her creations; it's like they're throwing shade for no reason. In my stash, I've got Eau de Citron Noir, Eau Givree, Eau Intense Vetiver, and, of course, H.24. I've rocked Memorie D'Homme from Nina Ricci and Lagerfeld Men, too-both made by the perfume queen herself, Christine Nagel. Her scents are my jam, and I'm totally hooked on her fragrant vibes.

I think that H.24 Herbes Vives is like a fresher version of H.24 EDP, replacing the metallic undertone for the sensation of freshly cut grass and without any floral notes found in the H.24 EDP. My inclination towards green/wood aromatic fragrances, exemplified by Guerlain Homme EDP, aligns seamlessly with the H.24 series, which stands as my preferred collection of fragrances. I intend to make a purchase at the earliest opportunity.

Hey man, I had the chance to smell JPG Le Beau Paradise Garden about a week ago and I quite enjoyed it, thinking about buying it, but I am not sure, because I cannot decide between Herbes Vives and Paradise Garden. Unfortunately, I have not smelled Herbes Vives yet, because it is not available at any stores near me. Would you think that I would like the new H24 flanker, based off my opinion on the new JPG Le Beau flanker? (I tried H24 EdT about two months ago and I liked it a lot)

Hi! I have not tried Le beau paradise garden, so can't help you on that 😊 Looking at the notes of Le beau paradise garden and how JPG usually does their scents, I do not think it's the same as H24. I could be wrong, but I never smelled anything like h24 ever from JPG and the notes in le beau paradise makes it look quite different. So again, I could be wrong since I have not smelled the new le beau, but I based on my experience with H24 herbes vives and looking at the notes of the jpg I don't think they are the same.

You are right, not a safe buy. Glad I had a sample because it is not exactly my thing. Regular H24 was ok for safe and boring office use, but that extra herbal note makes it less attractive. 5/10

It is a simple perfume -- I use it when I go to the supermarket or just go out on a summer day in my car in Dubai - nothing elegant - nothing complicated a nice and simple green perfume I'll probably give it like a 7/10 just because I don't really like green perfumes a lot but this one is nice

Good question! I did try the edt back when it was released, but chose not to buy it. I can't remember exactly how it smells like so can't give you a good answer on any similarities/differences. I´ll get back to this comment if I put my nose to the edt again. 😊

I think it was the metallic smell that didn’t appeal to me, although I did prefer the EDP to the EDT. The EDP was less metallic and more mossy.

This sounds to me like a Guelain l'Homme (not l'homme idéal) EDP, would you agree on that ?

Hi! I do not think this is anywhere near Guerlain L'homme Ideal EDT, EDP, L'intense or extreme. I also wouldnt compare it to their more fresh L'homme Ideal Cologne (which is basically citrus heavy with that almond). I have not tried the newer Platine Privé though so no idea about that one and any potential similarities with this. This to me is quite focused on this greenness with a bit of freshness and that pear.

I was referring to Guerlain L'Homme. which is described by some reviewer as a Mojito as it has mint and boozyness. to my nose it is pretty much green and a bit sweet, perfect for summer but it may smells a bit old school to some noses. I would love your feedback if you had the chance to test it. 🤍🤍🤍

Herbes Vives has shit smell compared to standard EDT/EDP. Not for me.
