My major complaint is the hero hall adds extra time. The old way: as soon as you upgrade to the next TH you can start upgrading heroes. The new way: upgrade the th, then upgrade the hall, for days if you don’t have books, then you’re allowed to upgrade heroes. Seems unnecessary to me.

Getting an extra hero to use while you upgrade is a gift. Casual players can barely afford 1 hero every few days anyways. Someone gives you another book to read while you're waiting and you feel the anxiety of needing to read it all. i hope you feel better as this system was intended to be a win-win, not something you have to rush or pay to rush... alas, impatience is the #1 income generator.

But wait I have exactly 61 different upgrades worth hundreds of thousands of DE each, across heroes, pets, and lab. Guys, note that you're not getting a level 70 minion prince just by virtue of being th 16. You need to have at least one hero at a level that can only be achieved at th 16. That is, either one of (at least) level 91 AQ, 91 BK, 66 GW or 46 RC

Yeah i do agree, but the sheer amount of variation of lalo(qc and super archer bomb just to name a few), will offset that, like you could just destroy the townhall by just bombing it, and you might take out some more key defenses, and the lalo is free from there

I kinda foresaw that something was brewing but definitely did not expect TH 9 to get another Hero 😂 At first the changes were that TH 8 BK could lvl up to Lv20. Then now unlock the AQ (probably to Lv20 as well) AND Minion Prince at TH 9 😅 DE hunt is easier now though so not too bad, especially since MP is an air unit 😂

I think they are giving offense to much power and not enough to defense to counter so there will be lots of draws in wars until the devs start nerfing things and hopefully brings in some defense strength because the defenses replacing the eagle aren't that great as they can easily be flanked since they only cover limited area

TH17 definitely got a huge nerf, no more global range without eagle, no more poison and bomb to slow and eliminate TH sniping units, pretty sure air is the new meta for TH17 as well. strats are definitely easier since its compartment focused instead of going for whole base vs compartments previously with the Eagle attacking them whereever they are and the TH being much more powerful, previously it was balancing strat with TH one side and eagle another, now its just take one compartment at a time easily, definitely one step back with TH17 defense mechanics. almost back to TH9 way of taking out bases.

Based on the written sneak peak on reddit, I think that as long as you have at least one TH16 level on your BK/AQ (aka, at least lvl 91) then you will be fine. “You hero hall will be whatever level is required to unlock your current hero’s, and the Minion price will max for one level lower” So a level 91 king requires a level 10 hall, which means you will get the level 70 prince from the level 9 hall.
