My dude, top notch content as always. I run a pure D-Hero deck and I've been thinking of adding Dreadmaster lately, but still hesitant. Is it worth adding? I like the protection effect as the monsters summoned can be used as follow up to be tributed for Plasma but idk. Looking forward that sweet Neos video coming up.

Lets break down the Destiny HERO Archetype. They are not very good at Monster removal. They only have 5 monsters that have effects with monster removal, i believe. They are: Destiny End Dragoon (Out performed by Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer rendering him useless) Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer who is their BEST monster thus far. Hes a non targeting destruction removal as a spell speed 2 as well as combo extender or interruption. Self revive (though you can technically revive any D HERO during the next stand-by) with ATK reduction. Hes by far their best asset and one of the top boss monsters. Over time hes becoming easier to play around as banishing more effects and actions become prevalent. By that i mean non action removal like being kaiju'd, used as link material etc. He can also be Call By The Grave and also lose to other spell speed 2 effects that dont destroy Dystopia is a good source of decent burn damage (1600 at max). Kinda like a HERO Version of Gagaga Cowboy in terms of just burning the last 1600LP they have simply by fusing into it to target a Celestial in GY. hes a good interrupter provided gou have a good sourde of altering his ATK to trigger his effect. Being spell speed 2 makes it good. Thanks to D-Force. Plasma is amazing! Ill even say possibly a staple. Hes a 1 sided skill drain with targeting non destruction removal. With D-Force on field he's immune to destruction by effects, your field cant be targeted by opponents effects, Llasma can do 2 attacks and gains 100 per monster in the GYs. D-Force being able to grab Plasma is amazing in itself. Also most people dont know this, but D-Force doesnt require a monster to be originally named "Destiny HERO Plasma". It just needs something to be named that. Meaning you can summon Elemental HERO Prisma, use its effect to reveal Destiny End Dragoon to send Plasma and take his name then play D-Forcd to get the Plasma in GY. Now D-Force is live through Prisma and it gains all of D-Forces benefits for the turn Doom Lord causes you to loose your Battle Phase just like Destiny End Dragoon. Hes meh. Has uses but isnt impactful They have very little in terms of resources and utility as many of their effects tend to happen later on rather than immediately. Their whole gimmick is that they control or deal with the passage of time to disrupt the field. The anime displays this well but IRL its not useful as only a small fraction of Destiny HEROs are even used. Outside of VERY niche uses which im not focusing on. The very good and useful Destiny HEROs in terms of value for set-ups, recovery and combos are: Dasher is just for special summon setups. Outside of that hes simply fusion fodder (usefulness can be argued) Celestial, Disk Commander for being able to replenish your hand. Outside of that hes simply fusion fodder (Celestial being better) Denier for extensions due to self revive and recycling Malicious (which is what hes made for but can recycle others if need be but itll be more of a watse if not used to put Malicious on top) Plasma (See Above) Malicious os a staple. Extender and combo piece. Fodder once used Dark Angel for the spell lock set up. Fodder otherwise. The good Fusions are really just Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer, Dystopia and ill even honorably mention Dangerous (Extender and Combo piece if used right) The rest of the Destiny HEROs are either way too slow, have reactive effects that rely on the opponent to trigger, power crept by better options, do not give reasonable immediate value or recovery etc. Out of all other Destiny HEROs whom arent good ill have to say that Dreadmaster CAN be useful. Though he shines better when summoned by Clock Tower Prison (though its slow to set up and unreliable) his "On Special Summon" effect to protect all your D-HEROs from destruction and no battle damage is good if you can Sp Summon him reliably. A LOT of their spells/traps are slow, gimmicky and/or useless in the gamestate. A few good ones being Fusion Destiny, Dsstiny Draw, Over Destiny (basically their version of A HERO Lives. Very slept on card), D Tactics (very good control especially when paired with Destroyer Phoenix Enforcer) and D-Force. They all have uses in niche situations but in terms of usefullneee like negation (outside of Plasma) control and utility...theyre lacking. In short. Theres a reason why so little of them as of now see play in HERO Hybrid Decks. A true majority Destiny HERO Deck will be a disaster. They are a core component to help facilitate combos in HEROs. Thats all.

You blew my mind with The Miracle Fusion and Dark Angel Combo, I'm gonna have to practice that one, cause I wasn't sure about how to use Dark Angel's other effect at all. And the Combo at the end too had no idea about. Hell Yeah I'd love to see Departed being in a build. Lastly I gotta question, I've been playing HERO nonstop consistently Since The Albaz Structure Deck Came out; and Only a couple Saturdays ago, my in tournament my opponent said Wonder Driver's spell that is set with its effect from the graveyard can't be used in the same turn (even if it's a normal spell like poly for example) is that true?

That is not true. Any normal spell set can be activated in the same turn. Quick Play spells, like Mask Change, cannot be activated the same turn they are set. So Miracle and Poly can be activated in the same turn they are set
