The thing I like the most of Gryphon, is that he speaks the language of his opponent. The devs could had choose to do a WM again and made him speak English (or basic in Star wars terms lol), but it fits him well.

@@VerifiedSwag Holden was never really into Apollyon's eternal war thing so after her death he was trying to get peace (campaign ending) but since the multiplayer takes place after the campaign it means he failed. He left the knights and wandered around the world and was welcomed by people from the other factions that also wanted peace and learned with them. It makes sense for him to get back to the fight with the whole Apollyon junior thing fucking everything up just when the factions where finally wanting to end the war (Hope season). He is the leader the Chimera alliance needed.

Just wondering, does anyone else feel like his kick is a bit fast? I'm on xbox, but I feel like his kick is pretty op, and it promotes spam for him. If you don't know what I'm talking about, he has a double light combo, or the heavy light, you also can't dodge early because of the undodgeable light, so it's pretty hard to dodge the kick. All I'm saying is that they should prob slow it down a bit, or fix the following: Deflects, blocks, crushing counters, parries, and everything to do with defence really.

Honestly I played against mostly all gryphons yesterday and after an hour or two I pretty much have the timing down for it, usually by a certain point if I don't see an indicator I'll know he's kicking. It can be a bit annoying in hanks though

@@Beanpolr well then it's prob just that I'm not used to him then. But I do try dodging the second he does any combo that can lead to a kick. I honestly like him as a character, he is just a bit op if teamed with a light slam conq, and you are constantly fighting a 1v2 to 1v4 bc your teammate think it's normal for 3 people to boost a point. If you haven't gotten the light slam conq and griffin combo before, it's pretty OP. (Unless you are a BP) basically what it is, the conq starts with a bash (or a gb if they want to mind game) and they begin their light spam after the bash, then the griffin starts doing his double light kick combo on loop. If you parry the conq light, you get hit by the kick, if you try to dodge or roll, you get caught by the light spam, and even if you get the parry on the conq before the griffin can kick, he can just bash you, letting the conq continue.

There is no skill needed in playing gryphon, his dodge is too op, his neutral “lawbringer shove” that is faster than a light. His kick which you can easily activate is a free top heavy. Basically free damage
