The ball i used was the "Arctic Vibe" with 3000 on it. 2000 pad was worn out.

@@tbone2104 I have gotten some 700s. But I haven't gotten one in a league or a tournament. The ball I used was a phaze 2 and an innovator solid

Nick, love the vids. Thx for this one specifically- you taught me to focus on each shot and making a good shot mechanically each time rather than focusing on scoring. It helped me toss a 699 this week, my third highest, and highest since taking 10 years off. Cheers!

I love this house. Not saying ive bowled there i just love it ! We had one near us in Fairhope Alabama overhead projector score keeping and everything. It was also real wood of course and 12 lanes. Tourneys were tough and alot of fun. Great bowling Nick !

Hey Nick, I used to bowl at a 10 lane center with above ground ball returns in Victoria Texas. Most people probably wouldn’t realize this, but it’s not as easy as it looks because you have to get used to kicking the ball return. It was a struggle for me at first, but I kind of got used to it after a while and I did shoot 300 there. Great set bro!!

I remember throwing my 1st 800 series back in 2016 for an 814 (268,279,267) with a DV8 Thug Unruly. Everything carried that night minus a few bad shots. I felt 100x more accomplished than rolling 300. I’ve had a few since then but that first one was amazing! Great bowling buddy!

@@brunsnick - Working hard at it .. First game tonight was just slightly below average. Second was horrible (fighting the lanes, couldn't figure out right ball), last game was pretty good, pulled it out of my butt somehow .. LOL .. I keep working at it. You help me a LOT learning how to read the lanes and make the right choices. Getting much better at it. Our lanes have been playing kind of strange the past few weeks, and it hard when you have people throwing straight or down the middle and carrying oil down. The lanes get a bit funky. BUT !!! .. I am getting much better at figuring them out quicker .. thanks to folks like YOU !! .. Thanks Nick !!!

@@squidly2112 i understand that. I bowl on Friday morning in my league with the older community and boy does it get weird. Depends on who we are facing. Some weeks it's urethane and plastic, some use reactive, and most just spray and pray. Heck had one lady go into the pro shop and ask my spo to tell her what ball to get to go into the pocket. We both watched her and our conclusion was that she couldn't hit the same spot or near it twice.

@@tylers_bowling_pb - Yep, sometimes you get goofy stuff, sometimes we get really high-rev players all playing the same track (my track). I am not a super high-rev player, somewhere around 350-370 (sometimes a little higher), but we sometimes play a team of guys with 400+ rev-rate playing basically in my same track (2 of my teammates are 2 handed and also very high rev players). On those days I go from my strongest balls (Proton Physics, Zen Master, DUO) all the way to my pearls (Zen Pearl, etc), through 3 or 4 other balls before, in just a 3 game block. Having to keep moving left and change balls about every 5 or 6 frames. Transition happens FAST on those days. I had one league night where I ended up cranking my plastic spare ball down the 10 arrow into the pocket, even having to move a few boards left to not over-hook. Talk about burnt up .. in just 3 games! .. crazy!

Thursday night, I too had been off for two weeks, was on an end pair and I was throwing my Theorem (hybrid though, don't have the pearl yet) and I too threw my best series of the season and in fact, best in years

You said "no big thoughts" and that is something that gets me after 6 strikes. I find myself really fighting my mind instead of just doing what I've been doing. What are your thoughts when you are mid game and the possibility of a 300 is on the table?
