New Hiking Trail! | Gold River Nova Scotia

This is a new hiking trail located in Gold River, Nova Scotia. There is a place for signage, but at the time of the filming signs were not up, and we do not know the official name of the trail. A lot of work has gone into it, with two different paths, direction markers and a picnic area. There is a small parking lot and portable-potty on site (it was very clean I might add!). At the time we hiked it there were no garbage cans, so be prepared to take any waste home. I would suspect there will be some in the future.
Gold River is located on Nova Scotia's South Shore, which offers a lot to see and do. Chester is a small seaside town a short drive away. After your hike stop into The Jib Coffee House & Bistro for a coffee and snacks. Check them out on Instagram / the_jib_bistro

Those look like pretty good trails indeed and signposted too. I've been through the area, but not the trails...a good reason to return now. Great stuff!! Bruce and Otis

It is such a nice trail. We usually prefer loop trails so we don’t have to double back, but this one was so nice, it’s worth it.

It is on the right hand side off Beech Hill Rd., which is directly off highway 3 in Gold River. There’s an average parking lot with a porta potty at the trailhead.
