Works well for me but when camera connects to the phone google loses connection to the internet and navigation works off line. I assume it is trying to use Hik WiFi which has no internet.

Great videos !! Can the AE-DC5013-F6 dashcam be mounted on the dash instead of on the windshield glass ? i.e. auto "flip" I would like to be able to remove the cam from the car when parked in sketchy areas and also move it from car to car. Thanks in advance! - HOW did you REMOVE the dashcam from your WINDSCREEN after it was GLUED on to take it back into the shop? (sorry about the caps, just wanted the attention hahaha)

Update - I see that when you set the "horizon" you can flip the view either vertically OR horizontally - so COOL if that does the trick so we don't watch videos upside down during playback

Great camera until I found out that once it's stuck to the windshield it's not coming off. Hik Vision says they don't sell the sticky back to reinstall after you install a new windshield.

Hello! I have a question, does the Dashcam support GPS location and can camera show km/h (real time) in live view and in a case of some traffic accident or damage that you can see in playback all data (gps location, time, km/h). For example in Serbia if you want a valid recorded video for a purpose to proof your innocence , in video you must have all information, time, gps location, speed is also on of the criteria if there is a speed limit control.

You might want to contact Hikvision and report the spelling mistake, check in the video how clock spelling is displayed, second line down, poor programming when they don’t run spell check in coding of each language used in commercial products, they spell clock correctly in Clock(Large). Beta testing should have identified this error.

It's a shame the same bitty playback is still an issue. Had the old version but the 3 times I actually needed footage it froze after a second and played nothing.

I still own the previous version and replaced the SD card today thinking it may be broken or corrupted but the same slaggish playback is happening . I can't see a way of updating the firmware if they will ever release one as you seem not to be able to connect the dashcam to an active internet connection , only through the app via the built-in WI-FI network

I hot wired my dashcam so in park mode it cuts of the power if it starts to drain my car battery, you can't do that with the USB connection, also I have a rear came attached, not available for this model Evidently ! By the way you can buy hot wire kits from the big on line store, so in park mode if your car battery is getting near it's critical state the camera power will be switched off !

currently this is no rear view additional camera that is available on this product , we do a “kit “ that can have forward facing , rear facing, and internal space camera , that is designed for the Taxi market in reality that would be hardwired in, maybe that might be more benefit to you

Stop praising that much an absolutely rubbish camera , the playback is absolutely awoeful , not fluent at all , a disgrace I should call it . I have replaced today the SD card thinking it may be broken but the same thing is happening on the previous model as well. I will call Hikvision and ask my money back although it's been a year since I've had it , it is a faulty product . It doesn't seem to have an option to update the firmware as the only way to connect to it it's via the internal WI-FI of the camera which cuts off the data .😡😡😡
