George Doorley it’s there ready to use and I’m sure it would be simple. Just two arms feed the string into the same beak that the net goes through. the net system is very reliable on this Baler though and the only prob I do seem to get is when the brake pad goes a bit worn and needs replacing stopping the net, very easy fix 👍

Hi Gazza looking at an identical baler, it’s tidy but not been used for 3 years and it’s stood outside although I’m told it should go straight to work! The chap told me to bid him a price but I don’t know where to start, he’s a wealthy chap and needs the shed room so I’m hopeful he would accept a cheeky bid. What sort of money should I be offering?

Sid Jones well depending on the bale count, this one has done about 15000 bales I think and it goes really well. Just buy a box of the bearings for the end of the slats because a few go every season, ( very easy to change ) mine has lived outside for the last 2 years in between harvest. I'd maybe start him at £2250 to £2500 just incase he gets offended and top end price £3500 for a clean baler, but that's just my opinion.

Gazza thanks, if I buy it I’ll know where to come for some advice! Those are the sort of figures I had in mind so fingers crossed! What’s she like in wetter silage, not stupid wet but certainly not haylage?

Sid Jones I did some green silage this year no problem, short n green, they are good balers and the net wrap system is quick and bomb proof. I've actually got a baler vid that I was going to put up a few weeks back but I ain't edited it yet, good luck with the offer 👍
