That was great George and showed how much better that screen in the centre is compared to the old one hidden away. I have to say Muckas T7 video was one of his best and his knowledge on stuff is second to none. You two produce some of the best stuff on KZbin to inform and educate folk. 👏🏻

Great vid as always George, lovely looking tractor, but honestly I like the noise of the old school tractors 😁👍 keep up the great vids👍

Personally I'd still prefer the older tm type setup. Dash is easy to see, 3 pt linkage easy to use and good location, manual spool valves but again easy to use. Certainly there could be little improvements on placements and stuff but I don't see much things I'd prefer on t7 joystick over tm style cab other than choice of forward/reverse either at the joystick or steering wheel
@darrenbarclay48332 жыл бұрын
TM's have way better aircon to the new CNH tractors and the cabs are to short on new one's and I Don't like the free reving engines no engine breaking on the hills

Great video of a great tractor George. I got a bit of mixed feelings about the new one, sure it looks all good and such but... that screen ON the steeringwheel... nope (it's something you'd expect to see on a Citroën car :P). I've seen pictures of a local New Holland dealer showing the new T7 PLM and it had it's display on the 'normal' location, behind the steeringwheel (the rest of the cab was exactly as the one you drove). I like that a lot better than the screen on the steeringwheel. All brands seem to go with digital screens these days, but I actualy liked the analog gauges they had in New Holland tractors :P (in cars as well, I acualy like the 'old' analog needle gauges more than all those new all digital speedos en rev counters). I do think GPS was an option to have on the screen on the 'old' T7, as most thieves stealing GPS systems also took that screen with them (and they've been stealing a lot of GPS systems from farmers and contractors past few years).
@davidsayer66962 жыл бұрын
Steering wheel mounted display is optional. Default is "traditional" location behind wheel.

Great looking yoke but big no for the new screen as when in field I like to rest my hand on centre of wheel and steer with spokes of wheel as it a finer touch when working in spud rows and cultivation of not on the GPS.

Can you not put that screen on the steering wheel back to its original location?
@disturbedcarrot2 жыл бұрын
Waiting for the day the whole windscreen becomes a smart tv where you can watch a movie while auto steer takes care of everything. In all seriousness, cabs will probably be less of an issue in 30+ years when driverless tractors will do most of the work.

How the heck do farmers afford this gear? Prices have always been repressed by the buyers, processors, supermarkets and foreign competition, yet the cost of the hardware increases with the technology they now incorporate. I'd find it very stressful trying to keep up especially now the EU subsidies no longer apply.
@jamesmccabe17022 жыл бұрын
Subsidies ruined farming, lads getting money for nothing too lazy to get off their arse and do a bit of work.

It looks like the older one is emitting to many decibels , and ear protectors are needed, I drive a Kubota, and the noise is a joke , ear defenders are a must , the problem is you could be using such tractors day in day out , and not realising the damage it could be doing to your hearing,
