My brother has a 190 with a loader it was bought for delivering haylage it does a few other light jobs for the rest of the year, one of its more unusual jobs is delivering Christmas trees all over Dublin and erecting the tree in Trinity college every year. He loves that tractor but he is well practiced in calabrating the gearbox

That noise when u change gear its absolutely awesome the place I work at has a jd 6420s that does it every time u change gear don't half get some looks going through the village with it

The Iveco engine in the TMs were great. If the LWB just had the proper cooling in the backend I'd imagine they would be more popular

@@hsagri69 ya some brutish power work has just imported 4000 hour 190 eco with manual spools getting fond of it the electric throttle is different to the cable but a very good power for money tractor

It's not an iveco engine mate. It's a 7.5 powerstar Ford engine

There good engines but I love the old powerstar 7.5 lol The 6.6 in the 7840 was descent it did hang on quite well but when it started dying it got to a stage it died right off. I had an 8240 that hung in way better than the 7840. 124 at the shaft the 7840 turbo done. And the 8240 had its pump turned up and it pulled like hell

Ford always did make a nice sounding 6 cylinder engine with or without a turbo, right from the first Thames trader engine Roadless/county and other guys put in the major conversions. Right up to the more modern engines in tractors like this. The only other 6's I really like having run them is the IH 1046/955/6 non turbo motors with the original bullet exhaust that whistles or the turbo ones. I'd drive those IH's without a radio all day just listening to them work when I lived in the U.K. I was thinking of buying an 8830 here in Canada for a new manure spreading business, that's what got me here from doing research on guys still using them. Thats sadly not happening with this virus going round and the financial impact after. Thanks for the video, stay safe out there, take care and good luck everybody.

@@hsagri69 well Fiat owns Newholland and their engines are pushing more horse and torque from a 6.7 litre than the 7.5 litre is . Personally i will always be a Blue fan loved the TW series with all my heart but close second is the Fiat 90 series and Fiart winner series them things can rev and sound sweet as hell. Smaller litreage than the Ford even at 5.9 but they pull like trains and arguably sounded much better than ford especially when you give the old double rev then foot to the floor hehe

Only problem with them is the Boost, Better getting a manual pump. Local contractor had fleet of TM's and MXM 190 and the 190 was gutless because of the boost feature so they put mechanical pump on her after that she was awesome with no problems if only they had it sooner, still the whole fleet wasnt as good as their TM 125 that was pushing well over 200hp bought from Porter contracts. Bloody thing was a true pocket rocket as for the noise one of best i heard was the 190 or 150 that 7.5 litre sure has grunt. One thing great about the 175 and 190 also is the 50 k box mighty machine with 3000 gallon tanker on

There still a hell of a lot of tractor for the price. I was going to have a go at u for being rude about the transmission but u hit the nail on the head. They need 1 operator not a yard full of drivers on them

sorry to butt in but the one i was in contact with MXM 190 had some of teh roughest drivers on the planet and bar that stupid boost problem she never gave any bother. she was range command though

All depends on how well shes calibrated and how u drive her. Shes in bad need of a calibrate but u can still smooth shift her on the throttle

Do you back off the throttle between gears? That TM is a range command/Power command right?

She's a power command. Yeah just back off a touch on the change butback on as she changes

i must say i am a fan of the TM range. shame there are some bad points tho.... the MXM 155 i used on my first ever harvest Job was a beast of a machine!!!! we also had a Maxxum 140 Multicontroler ( addblue version) and a Claas Arion 640 (Old shape) and the MXM was still the most comfy by far!!! if i ever get some pennys in it well be on my list to own one for sure! here is my vid of driving her. kzbin.info/www/bejne/qofHcpSleqacjsk Look after yourself and stay safe!
