Wow... we definitely clean very similarly. I normally listen to podcasts or music as well while cleaning but I do sometimes just clean in silence. Depends on my mood. I have 5 homes I do each biweekly that I've been going to for 11 to 13 years and they all take me between 4 to 6 hours to complete. I do over clean like you've said... I find I am a lot more "detailed" with my clients homes than I am my own home. Idk why that is, but I do go over things a lot more than I do my own home and before I leave, I go and look at all my work to make sure I haven't forgotten anything or in case I need to go over something again because there is a spot or whatnot. Lol! I usually leave my clients homes pretty sore from all the bending and scrubbing and lifting and vacuuming/mopping (those will kill your back if you don't watch it, lol). I love that we have this in common. Thank you for sharing and look forward to more of your clients and your own home cleaning as well ❤

@@cleanwithmimi Y’all must be really different out in Canada. Wow, I have never heard of one customer having their home cleaned by the same cleaning lady for over a decade!! Some many things change over the years such as family situations, prices go up etc. How do you raise the prices on such long time customers each year? What does that look like? I’m curious 🧐

​@TheStephanieWay 100% honest... they raise it without me asking. No lie. And one of them give me a huge Christmas bonus every year as well. I have a few once a month clients that I've had to raise prices over the years for. I usually just tell them that the cost of supplies is rising with the cost of living therefore I have to raise my price as well. And I've had no issues with that. But you have to also take into consideration that I myself am not a registered business like I believe you are. So I don't have a written contract or anything with them. I've had the same set of ppl for over a decade and a few for 12 and 13 years the others are not far from a decade. .. 7, 8 and 9 years. Idk.. they've just never had an issue with me and they trust me with their keys and lock codes and all that so I guess they'd rather not change since I know their homes and they are happy with the service. I've literally watched a lot of my clients' children grow up from baby to preteens. Lol

I've had clients go through divorce and the woman will keep me for their new home, all kind of things happen in life and these ppl are bent on keeping me on. They always say "please edont ever leave me!" LOL! But I love it. I am not a ppl person.. I am very introverted and I'm not really outgoing. I'm kinda quite and to myself kinda person. But I am so comfortable around my clients they are all almost like family to me.

@@RealLifewithRisha Hey Risa 👋🏾 thank you sis! Clients just have different things that they may not want you to do. When I said that she’s “weird”about it, those are her words, not mine. When she is home, she washes the dishes while I clean and it’s usually WAYYYYY more than what was in the video today. I think it’s just something that she likes to do herself. If I were to ever have a cleaning lady (which I won’t 😂) but she could not make my bed. So it’s the same with the dishes in her case. Sorry for the lengthy response 😊
