Why they makes the houses so small in the east coast? In California the rooms are huge and here in NC the rooms are so small.

Builders are building small homes on purpose here, in order to make more "affordable" homes.

I think when you buy a more expensive home with more square footage on a wider lot the rooms are bigger because the home is bigger...
