We painted the whole house before the one year dry wall. It was a very messy process with dust everywhere and it was a good thing because the house was empty and we didn't have to worry about our furniture. We've done that b4 in our previous house. The one year dry wall fix didn't make as much mess as compared to painting the whole house. Either way I think is just a matter of preference.

Yeah we've heard pros and cons. I def wanna go ahead and start painting but the hubby said no 🙄 lol

I think by the time you add accessories to the room it will definitely all come together. Take your time to make it like you want it.

Love the furniture and the rug looks nice. I would add some gold accessories to give the room a little pop! At Home carries some cute accessories for an inexpensive price. Also maybe add a green plant. Finally, I agree with you on Drees being expensive. We looked at a model here in Fredericksburg and good grief. We finally settled on Ryan homes. Closing next month! I’ll be looking for decoration inspiration just like you are!

For sure we need a bigger rug, funny story we didn't realize how big our house actually is. The entry way can fit a 8x10 rug 🤷🏾‍♂️🤣 We have to get larger sizes ~ Travis
