Your plants do so well in your home. When repotting your plants always go with a pot only an inch wider. If you go too big, the roots will fill out their new space and the greenery growth slows down to accommodate the root growth. Hope this is helpful. But judging by the happiness of all your plants, you’re definitely doing something right! ❤

Pro tip: You do also have the ability to divide the current plants you have into multiple plants. Take a small shovel trowel and gently divide the plants at the root side. Then pot in fresh soil, water then in generously and allow time for the plant to recover from the division. A certain amount of flopping will happen but the plant should recover on its own. Just keep the rots moist until it does.

These philadendrons are almost impossible to kill. In my first apartment here, I had one on top of the kitchen shelves over the sink, much as Jamie does. It continued to grow until the leaves covered. The approximately ten to twelve foot shelf space. Sometimes I forgot to water it when I watered the other plants because it involved getting the stepladder. But when I did water them, they would bounce right back! I had them for years. Try one, they're easy to come by.

@LindaC616Ай бұрын
@cindyrussell7017 yes, so keep it on a shelf. You wouldn't want it on a floor anyway. See how those vines grow so long? You want to be able to appreciate something like that by having it up on a shelf or hanging. They also don't require a ton of direct sun, so you can put it wherever. My girly never bothered them

I would love that house too, if I was a plant. So open and bright! I hope these coasters/saucers are properly glazed, so they won't let any moisture seep through! Over here they often aren't, so if you water, the surface below the coaster will eventually start to mold because the coaster is absorbing the water. That storage thing for the jeep is really nice!

The ivies remind me of my mother. She had ivy plants all her life. There was an English ivy plant on side wall of our brick home when I was growing up. Mind you this is Texas! All God's creatures big & small ...❤

Well, I usually don't repot my plants until they get root bound. At one point, I had a large plant like those that are up on that ledge, it got so out of hand I kept wrapping the runners off of it around itself so when I went to trim it back, I ended up cutting way too much off and eventually, it just died on me. I am not really that good with plants if I pay too much attention to them I wind up killing them. I water them once a week and leave them alone.

lovely new plant pots for your plants, sometimes it is a good idea to put something in to stop the blocking of the hole so the plant doesn't get to waterlogged at the bottom you can use large gravel, old broken crockery anything like that, although I must admit that root system on the first plant looked pretty good too me you certainly seem to have a green thumb Jamie💖
