Design:
11mm longer and 49mm wider than before
Wheelbase: 2700mm
Height is 17mm lower
Fastback like design - better road presense. Loads of chrome around the car. Front design is now bigger. Gets chunky signature chrome strip at the front and gets LED headlights which looks very modern. There is an air intake below the bumper and fog lamps also get chrome surround.
17-inch alloys are biggest in the class
Boot Space: 430L (Least in Segment)
Increased ride height by 20mm to 170mm
Interiors:
Driver-centric cabin. Cabin layout looks good but quality isn't the best. For example, the controls on steering wheel looks way cheaper than in the WR-V.
Seats are wide and offer good comfort. You get number of storage spaces and Civic comes with Electronic parking brakes.
The 7 inch touchscreen is easy to use, however doesn't really feel premium. Gets Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. You get multiple views for the reverse camera which is a good thing.
Features:
4 airbags, hill-start assist, ABS with EBD, ESP, Reverse camera with Parking Sensors all from the base variant
Base V CVT variant also gets LED tail-lamps, DRLs, 16-inch diamond cut alloys, electric mirror, keyless entry, paddle shifters and rear air-con vents
VX variant gets 8-way powered drivers seat, touchscreen, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, auto-dimming mirrors, ambient lighting and leather upholstery
Only top ZX variant gets full-LED auto headlamps, 17-inch alloys, sunroof, rain sensing wipers and curtain airbags
Segment first feature - lane watch camera, remote engine starter (petrol only) and automatic door locking when the driver walks away with the key
Engine:
Gets 1.8L Petrol with CVT and 1.6L diesel only with a 6-speed auto
Petrol makes 141hp and 174Nm (lowest among rivals)
Diesel makes 120hp and 300Nm
