Great car . Just actually ordered one . I see a lot of people saying about the cost and moaning about the price but it’s equivalent to a Kia sportage In price and it is a far far superior car and you know it’s gonna be reliable. We viewed both this and the sportage and what done it for us was the difference in how the Honda felt screwed together, it had a difference in quality for us. We actually felt like it was pretty good value. The new CRv is also a fantastic car. The rear of it is probably one of the most comfortable cars I’ve ever sat in. Great car and good review. Thank you.

Thank you for your concise and unfussy Review, with comical overtones, certainly refreshing. Due to take a Test Drive in the next few days, in exchange for my current '22 CR-V HYBRID, so this overview is most welcome. My Wife/Partner owns and enjoys a 2010 Honda CR-Z SPORT HYBRID with the unbelievable 6 Speed 'MANUAL' shifter, (collectors car with just 35k on the clock !). So WHY have I related to this CR-Z you may well ask....2010 Hybrid, average 44mpg, TROUBLE FREE for 13+ years.....HONDA, why look at the alternatives everyone. STAY SAFE...G.A.R.

Good Afternoon....as requested, MY opinion on the Honda ZR-V, for what it's worth. Dear, Oh' Dear, Oh' Dear...exceptional comfort, drive and acceptable economic m.p.g., BUT...what on this Earth were the Design Team thinking of, I ask myself, I do believe that the selected must have been resident on TWO different Continents. The overall design is so "BLAND" and uninspiring the 'brief' must have been "let's see what we can get away with"...UNBELIEVABLE would be an understatement ! Sorry...we're sticking to our 2010 CR-Z and the current 2022 CR-V...unless Honda decide to release the "ACCORD" onto the European market....stay safe..regards G.A.R.

What are your thoughts on the new CR-V being Civic inspired, we like the subtle styling as do others we’ve spoken too, thank you for reporting back GAR😀
@grahamrock394210 ай бұрын
@@PlanetautoUK GRANTED...the ZR-V may be inspired by the CIVIC 'underpinnings', certainly in respect of Driving experience and comfort...but WHY base the overall external appearance on the "Wonderful" early 70's AUSTIN ALLEGRO...which incidentally had the very first 'inspired' SQUARE STEERING WHEEL as a selling point. Time, and UK/EUROPEAN sales figures will inevitably confirm the way forward with the ZR-V, but Honda will not be receiving MY cash. Honda, as with the remaining Japanese design teams for other Models, can surely 'muster' far better than this FORGETTABLE Model...perhaps "we" could revisit these views in 12 Months time....G.A.R.

WELL FRIENDS, you asked for it !!! Having been an avid Consumer of Honda Vehicles since 2004, regrettably I've had to look elsewhere for my CR-V HYBRID replacement...WHY, you may well ask !! Number of reasons...the ZR-V option, purely MY opinion, is so "Bland" and uninspiring I cannot for the life of me understand exactly what the Honda Design Team were even thinking about. The only saving grace will be that this Model will be a 'Rare Sight' on the European Roads...NO ISSUES AT ALL WITH THE EXPECTED RELIABILITY. Honda, in their wisdom, has decided to increase the OTR prices on all their Models, I understand that the Dealership margins are likely to be reduced by almost 3%..not a good sign. So...what have I ordered as my replacement....a CITROËN C5x Hybrid...take one for a Test Drive, you will be so relaxed after your journey you will probably BOTH fall asleep in 'Deep' comfort and tranquility. Stay Safe G.A.R.

Hi guys writing to you from Australia. Not sure if you have had this problem in the UK but I have ordered this car (ZRV Hybrid) back in May 2023 and will not get delivery till December 2023. My car is getting built in Japan. It has no sunroof and no auto door locking. The delivery of cars to Australia is bad. A Toyota Rav4 has a wait time of around 16 months. If possible, could you tell me the top speed, you have had the ZRV up too. We use KM per hr.
@PlanetautoUK Жыл бұрын
Hello, that’s not a bad lead time currently, yes specs etc are all over the place with a lot of manufacturers, components missing etc - We’ve only driven this on UK roads meaning 70mph, of what we’ve read the top speed is just under 110mph, cool username Fruitfly 🍉 thank you

Love the style of the reviews. You could be a bit more critical for example the glove box is a bit on the small side and the rear windows don't go down completely.

It’s rare to find a decent size glove box nowadays, and bear in mind this is the road trip - the full review is being released tomorrow evening.

Even though i've been offered one of these for £36k brand new £8K off brand new for Advance model full leather etc becasue the list price is over £40k the tax is over £500 per year for 5 years, so Honda need to change the list price to below £40k for me to buy the ZRV

Looks like Honda is one of the few to keep increasing their prices at least in Europe.
@PlanetautoUK9 ай бұрын
Actually, with the cost of living crisis, nearly all the manufacturers are raising their prices (with the exception of some of the Chinese manufacturers like BYD and Ora) and in fact, you can get an e:NY1 with about £8,000 off at the moment.

The drivetrain really is the worst of all worlds ! You’ve still got batteries with electric motors and a mighty fine engine that needs no help . My Honda , over 13 years old and 100,000 miles and good for many times that , gets mid 40’s on a run . Your car would probably need to have a battery replacement before then , at a cost of thousands , rendering an otherwise fine car to the scrapheap. People really need to think , and understand the consequences , of buying these type of cars .

This is where motors or should I say power trains are heading, before long the way things are going you, us won’t be able to drive our cars or we’ll be paying a ridiculous amount per mile everywhere #15minutecities
