A very practical vehicle with no frills. Superb value SH. Most EV’s nowadays are laden with tech which people don’t understand and never use after the initial setup! For a local small business bobbing around locally it is spot on, but as you say Ben, it is also a great RV also for biking , camping etc. I would add VTL to your wish list for future models. Great review as always👍😎

I sold this car after three months of owning it. I was sold on the hybrid technology and the Suzuki brand that I admire but this was a frustrating and annoying car to own. Quite often it registered the wrong gear and would not do what you wanted the car to do. I have no idea what Suzuki were thinking when they manufactured and launched this vehicle. It just struggles to do what you want it to do. It doesn't like to be rushed either pushing it off its limits and causing an uncomfortable driving experience. I'm glad I sold it in good time. Very hard to live with this car.

Incredible value for money, with a superb build quality! How do these guys do it? It makes me wonder how JLR are going to compete with their new all electric vehicles when they are eventually launched ! The prices being mooted are crazy when you compare them against vehicles such as these. How many UK dealers are there Ben for KGM?

They are too expensive right now. The EV makes sense only with more range and AWD for this sort of vehicle. At these sorts of prices I’d pay a little more for a Tesla. No idea what it was claimed the EV has capabilities off road - how can it if it’s FWD?
@garybarry93659 күн бұрын
@MarthaMansbridge Agree, people will just jump in a Model Y with better residuals. Give it 2 or 3 years a though and they will plummet and become really tempting. Already a 24 plate K40 demo on autotrader for 32k.

Do you have space at home to have a Type 2 charger installed? If so, you are home and dry. Being able to charge this at home is the key to making this a viable option for you. Bear in mind that you can charge at home on tariffs that only cost around 7p per kWh means it’s vastly more affordable than public chargers. Also, the given range actually holds up, and even goes higher if you are driving in a city environment. Thank you, @SnowAndBeach - glad you enjoyed our review. Come back and let us know what you decide to do.

i have the misfortune of driving a brand new Chinese MG hs Automatic as a courtesy car for the past 8 weeks . having driven all manner cars for 50 years i can honestly say this MG is the worst car i have ever driven in my entire life and wouldn't have it for free if i was giving it . Its starts with the strong smell of nasty plastics don't ask what the internal fake leather seat are made of .the smell gets into your clothes its that bad . The auto is terrible slow or silly fast with little feel , it also sometimes takes a few seconds to think what to do. this is normally when you are at a junction ready to pull out . The mileage range counts down to 48 mile remaining then disappears to as series of dashes as they cannot reliably calculate the range any lower . The head unit with all the heating controls is rubbish slow and dangerous , the touch screen sensitivity is like old cheap mobile phone , it alway defaults back to another screen . the steering even with all the tech turned off is like driving a bus without power steering when driving over 30mph . Yes you get a load of car for the money but none of it is good
