Hi Brenda, greetings again from Toronto 🇨🇦. Happy New Year! Thanks for your new video and the 2025 TBR. Hopefully my library will purchase some of the ones you’ve chosen! Porcelain sounds good; shades of Annabelle… I won’t check out SA Barnes’s new novel, I found Ghost Ship boring and I DNF‘d it. Chuck Wendig is great: I read his Book of Accidents last year and loved it. If you like stories in which friends encounter something horrific, go their separate ways then come back together, check out Small Town Horror by Ronald Malfi; I’m half-way through it right now and it’s terrific. Good reading to you in 2025! P.S. I see Ghost Tree by Christina Henry on your TBR list. Read it, it’s great.

@@reading_by_myshelfHi Brenda, I hope you are well. I’ve sweated over this question, it’s so hard to choose one! I made a list that turned out to be 10, the I cut it to 7, then cut it down further to 5. That’s the best I can do: (In no particular order) HP Lovecraft Brian Lumley Bentley Little Stephen King Karl Edward Wagner Sorry I couldn’t do better.
