HAPPY FRIDAY! I HAVE ANOTHER FOUNDATION REVIEW & ITS THE NEW HOURGLASS SOFT GLOW FOUNDATION! I am excited to try this out, especially when it's an ambient soft glow. Been loving soft glows lately, and for a good reason.
This is in shade 8 for reference and if you guys have a difficult time picking your shade, don't worry you are not alone. Also when I recorded this video, it was not available at Sephora, but right now it is. So it's best you guys want to go check it out and do some swatches.

Dear ur undertone never changes. In referring to u saying; Im olive in the summer. If ur olive in the summer, ur olive through out the whole year. See a persons undertone doesn't change. U can defenitely get a shade darker of lighter through seasons. But that undertone will remain a fact. Im also olive, and because alot of brands choose to ignore this undertone, ur next best best option would be foundation with a golden undertone. I suggest u look at shade 9. I got that one too. Its a pretty shade for olive skin. :)

My undertone changes and I become more red in the summer. Could be the same for her

@@AdaObioma undertone is the color that u have under you're skin. That doesn't change. Ur probably tanning red. Ask any dermatologist or skin expert. undertones don't change.

I agree with you about the shades, I wear 6.5 in armini originally tried shade 8 in hourglass. Didn't work so I ended up with 9.5 and it works now, if I really love it I'll get shade 8 for winter.

You’re totally right, when I done the Sephora IQ match it said I was shade 6.5. I was skeptical bc it was too light so I gone in to Sephora and the counter girl matched me to 10.5 which somewhat seemed to match. As soon as I try it on at home it was totally off in natural daylight, super difficult to get your correct tone with this foundation, although I like how it looks on my skin it’s soo off with the shade range. Yes go a shade or two darker.

100% it’s so hard to choose your shade and it’s so frustrating that the description between 2 shades are the same 🤦🏻‍♀️

I was thinking of going for a 9 or 10 now since it’s now available in stores I can do some swatches 😆

Sameee about my usual shade matches it’s oak and LS 6, when you swatch in store can you let us know your view on the 9 and 10 shades? And what is more suitable? Or swatch them in a video as comparisons alongside to see undertones, as the swatches online are terrible and I have no way to see them in aus :( it’s so hard 😘
