We moved and we are completely in love with our new house, so we're giving y'all a quick new house tour!
We have lived in our new house for only 1 week so things definitely aren't perfectly organized and nice, but we want to show you anyways. This new house tour is the pre-organizing edition. Stay tuned for the post-organizing edition of our new house tour. :)

Lovely new house, so much space to enjoy! The bulbs will come back next year if you leave them be. The thing is to leave the leaves after the flowers die (don’t trim them until they dry out) as they store energy from the sun for the next year.

I love your new house and your excitement!! What a difference from the tiny house!! That staircase to the basement is soooo cool. I always wanted a sunroom or to make the attic a game room. We have a full basement that needs a bathroom. Anyway, so happy for you guys!!

We had dreams for our old little house too. We thought about opening up and using the attic or adding a half bath in the basement. But I'm so happy for our new bigger house. I cleaned out the basement yesterday and now our home feels even bigger. :)

Thank you so much Adriana! I love that picture too. I actually won it on a trip to see Binni's sister once when we were still students and didn't have nice art on our walls. We loved it and payed a fortune to get it shipped home. Haha. Do you have any art on your walls that you just love?

My dream is to have a master walk in laundry closet. It will have the entire family's clothes in it so all the washing folding and storing of clothes happens all in the same room. Also, I love how excited you are about your home. I can't wait to visit!

Big congratulations! I love how excited and happy you are to show us around and see everything come together. And there are so many possibilities now with more space and a backyard! One of our dreams for our home is about to come true soon! We’re getting a screened-in covered porch area in the back. We love relaxing outside, but there are lots of bugs, especially mosquitoes. We look forward to spending lots of time there, protected from the bugs, sun, and rain, and sharing drinks with friends who come and visit us!

That sounds absolutely lovely! We love lounging outside when the weather is nice enough, but the bugs can be a real nuisance. It's also nice that things seem to be opening up more to actually go visit friends and having people over. Is that also the case where you are?

@@RealOrganized Yes, restrictions are lifting and things are feeling much safer! We’re even hosting some family this weekend, for the first time in a long time. It’s a big relief, but we’re still pretty cautious when going out. Hope all is well and safe there!

We have brick internal walls in our house. Very impractical for Queensland, Australia, because they retain the heat in summer, which here is REALLY hot. But it might be great where you live.

You have no idea how much that resonates! My (Binni's) parents used to read and quote Brian Tracy to me and my siblings all the time when we were kids, to the point where we got completely sick and tired of hearing his name. A lot of the lessons stuck though, and I've come to appreciate the wisdom my parents were trying to pass on more and more as I've grown older. 😊
