Wow! Just when I thought I couldn’t like it anymore.. she took us upstairs! Molly is such a warm and lovely person. I love her style.. she has put so much love into her home.. it must feel so wonderful to be in this space. I love seeing someone so passionate speak about their home and eloquently at that. I actually love the darker/moodier lighting it adds to the enchanting feel of the space! She found the perfect place for every piece in that home.. all the objects live in harmony with each other.. her home sings with happiness! She certainly created a sense of place for her family.. I Love this Home filled with Family Heirlooms there’s comfortable slipcovered seating along with painted furniture exhibiting such beautiful colors the sea view and outside are gorgeous everything is just wonderful. Well. I have an aversion to blue and coastal decor, and I absolutely love this home, and the owner ( isn't her skin fantastic) I love the light in the house, or rather lack of light. It gave the home a very contemplative feel, a place to just be. Molly has a wonderful collection of furniture and a keen eye. She build a new house and wanted it to evoke a handed down family home. She more than succeeded.

Hello Molly. What a lovely home you’ve created. I live in the mountains of North Carolina but I love all things New England! This cottage is so, so warm and welcoming - I just love it. By the way, I’ve been searching for slip covered furniture due to our two fur babies, but never see them in stores. I’ve been afraid to order on line. Did you source yours on line? My son passed away in 2009. He was 23. I was 54. For years after his death I kept busy working, but was never happy, so when the pandemic hit in 2019, I was so grateful that I could quit pretending I was ok out in public and just stay home…and I’ve been home now for 4 years and I’m feeling exactly as you’re describing it. Numb. Last Oct. my daughter had my first grandchild. A darling little boy, Noah. You’d think it would be a joyous time for me, but I’m just not feeling it and I think it’s because I have a wall up protecting myself from loving him (or anyone else for that matter) because maybe I haven’t dealt with Alex dying yet? I’ll be 70 in April, and I feel like my house (and gardening and thrifting) is all I’ll be doing until the day I die and I feel like that may be a lot of long numb years unless I can figure out how to push through it, get past it and get back to loving life and the people in it.

Fabulous tour! I enjoyed hearing all about her design ideas as a non-designer herself. I love all of her decor choices! Maine holds a special place in my heart and I was able to bring my family to Bar Harbor last summer. We loved it!
