nope should just work everytime, but when u close valorant and if you change back to your normal res, make sure you switch back to the stretched res before rebooting the game

It works! I tried it on my laptop using CRU (custom resolution utility) because I dont have nvidia control panel to adjust my resolution. After you adjust the resolution in your desktop, one thing to keep in mind is that if you have intel like me, go to intel graphic command center and click on display and adjust it to stretch (no black bars). Then follow the tutorial. Important note: You need to play around with CRU and watch tutorial. Because for me, CRU is a bit weird as when I add my custom resolution with 1280x882 with 144 hz (my monitor refresh rate) and restarted my laptop, in the display system, there are 2 settings of the same res (1280x882) but with different hz (one with 60 hz one with 144hz). Thus, I change the resolution to the 144 hz 1280×882 but it goes black for 5 to 10 seconds and revert to my normal native res (1920×1080). This means it does not work. However, the 60 hz 1280×882 works. Thus to fix this, I type in the CRU 1280×882 with 60 hz. As I predicted, in the display system, there are 2 options (one 144hz and one 60hz). Therefore, I click on the 144 hz and it worked.
