I like the table setup! It's great for plant mail unpacking. :) I must say, even when ordering from reliable sellers who are meticulous with preparing and spraying plants before shipping, Mealy bugs will find a way to travel safely :). What I do: I have a separate sizeable see-through box with a lid. Plastic net on the bottom (how Doug Chamberlain does), so I have it more humid, but plants won't be touching the water. And a ready-to-spray bottle with very concentrated PureCrop1. After thoroughly inspecting the plants, I spray them through and through and let them be in the box, in a warm, well-lit place, for several days before doing anything with them. I think I’ve been too careless in the past when getting new plants. I’m not sure how I didn’t end up with a pest issue. Thank you for sharing that! I have an empty bin that I plan to use whenever I get something. Haven’t bought anything plant related since January 😅

Importing anything can be hit or miss! Its always so hard not to be a helicopter mom when propagating anything! I'm glad to see you were able to save some of the cuttings, they all look great! Looking forward to seeing more of your videos! :)

Thank you for the video. VERY interesting. I have never ordered from overseas with roots only. I ordered a Linearis from Poland in the pot with soil. It is thriving. What is the little envelope that you had on the plant? Is it for pests? Would you kindly share that information with us please? I have never seen that.... :-) Thanks!

Did the shop not have a phytosanitary certificate? How did it go through customs with that amount of pests??? Very concerning.

It did come with one which is odd that it came like that. I haven’t ordered from them since but the plants are thriving luckily
