The alcohol content in the primer is probably used to make the primer dry a little faster - it depends how high up on the list the alcohol is vs the type/quality of alcohol that will actually dictate whether the alcohol is bad in that particular case.

I took a second look at the ingredient list and alcohol is listed twice. The fifth on the list just says "Alcohol" and then further down there is "Polyvinyl Alcohol" Like I said, I am no cosmetic chemist so I definitely don't know how to determine quality, etc but that seems like a lot of alcohol to my layman brain 🤣🥂

@@MakeupJustForFun polyvinyl alcohol is a polymer and an alcohol by organic chem definition, used as an emollient and for viscosity control. it is present in PVA glue, btw.

I bought it, and aside from my eczema spots and where my mask rubs, it handled no AC in 100+ F weather with 60%+ humidity for roughly ten hours or so. My car has no ac and my job might as well not at the moment, our window wall was busted by a drunk driver. I need to test my other primers with it but so far so good!

I was so excited and so nervous about this release because HELLO a skin like foundation from Huda?! Also I have never had good luck with stick foundations. Even when I had super dry skin after radiation the MUR stick slid around on my face and settled in every line and wrinkle. I was extremely impressed with how this Huda foundation looked when I put it on, but as the day went on it did the SAME THING. It disappeared from my cheeks, nose and chin, and gathered under my eyes and between my eyebrows terribly. Maybe stick foundations just aren’t good for mature skin 🤷🏻‍♀️ I welcome ANY tips to stop that from happening.

I wonder if that 'around a half ounce/15 grams' of stick formulation is somehow the amount thought to be reasonably used before that kind of formulation dries up/loses its cohesiveness, spoils, etc? Wet n Wild's stick foundation is .42 oz/12 grams, for reference. And it is a lot cheaper too.

Yeah the separation and pooling between the eyes is gross. And the missing spots. It’s weird. I think it’s just stick foundations on mature skin. Not a good idea. I think if I wear this it’s gonna be 4 hrs max.
