I am a huge fan of the new ways to plug holes in your raft. If you didn't have any boat patches or just ran out, then gently bumping into a sea stack was outright fatal and forced you to make a B line back to land, it made ocean exploration so stressful

Okay, you guys really have to stop only latching onto the negative talk. I have praised what deserved it while being picky where Klei is slacking for years, nothing has changed in that. So if you're hearing, seeing, and feeling these things there has got to be reason for it correct? And besides, apart from questioning what Klei is doing with the Werepig, the only Update I've trashed this year is, The Year of The Dragon, and we all took a dump on that one because Klei did a horrendous job of it. 😅

@@TheBeard777 I have mixed feelings about skills trees, sure i love all new mechanics and "balance" that came with, i just think that the general idea is bad implemented you know?. Like most players only pick the same skills all over(like with woodie and his weremoose for example). It's almost no choice, only pick the best skills or the most op of them and enjoy, while the others are.. "fillers".

Those crab king bumpers are make you immune to land??? Now this is peak content. No more having to spend half a day traveling across the ocean. I can now place catchholder docks (assuming docks act as land and make you immune too) and place like 4 or maybe even more winged sails to just teleport from island to island. I shall now become the fastest being on the ocean

OrangE mentioned this a while back but klei really are making the same slip ups they did with the caves with ocean content. making this new vast and open area with absolutely no content. and taking years to actually populate it with cool stuff

This QoL changes are straight up AMAZING, specially leaks not being as damn punishing as they are now. More often than not, a single bump meant that my expedition was over and I that needed to get to land asap. Sure, the ocean will still feel empty (I doubt that will ever change) but exploring it won't be as stressful anymore.

No idea. Back in the day I would've told you it would be guaranteed for new things to retrofit just fine into older worlds but after the fiasco of Scrappy Scavengers I am wearier of that prospect. My guess is yes, but I would start hoping more than guessing at this rate - especially when I have already generated new Beta Worlds that have spawned NONE of them.

In the past most update content has retrofitted into pre-existing worlds just fine however the last major Update, Scrappy Scavengers, had MAJOR problems doing that so... We'll have to wait and see about this one here...

Winona has a possible dps of over 500. And wurt has become a titan in spring and can make instant speed boosting arenas that effectively turn hambats into thulicite clubs. Both of them are very powerful and fun
