I like the format. Especially for kids. Topps could really go crazy with this. Maybe include a poster? A mixer pack with cards from different releases? Maybe a guaranteed manufacturer relic, true relic, or autograph? A lot of potential for this format.

I bought one from fanatics when they first went on sale. Still waiting on it to come but it looks like a fun rip and not a bad price point. The "companion" cards (Judge, etc) is a short print I think as it has a different code number on the back.

I'm not sure if the trading cards are meant to be used in a game setting - I use these cards for playing Team vs Team and there is a lot of math and such. This set seems perfect! So every year I'm totally into buying it! Thanks so much, had no idea this was out yet!!!! ❤❤❤

Cards cost too much. Can’t enjoy the hobby due to the sky high cost. Also, most packs just rook you. $8.00 for ten cards featuring John Doe, Bob Loblaw or Lenny Moneypenny.

Back in 2010 topps had a cool box mega box I must have bought like 50 of them I think they had 5 Topps chrome pack and 5 Bowman chrome packs and a some hobby packs it’s been so long it could be more but I pulled some nice cards out of those $19.99 mega boxes I pulled a bunch of Strasburg Rookies some nice numbered refractors I really enjoyed those boxes I been out the hobby for over 8 years now but still enjoy breaking a blaster here and there.

In Canada, the Series 1 box is cheaper than a blaster box, at least right now at WalMart. I got a few of these, and wish I had known about them before I bought a Monster Box because this is a way better deal! Don't have much Series 2 yet, hoping they bring these out again soon for Series 2! The glue is annoying, though. They could use a tiny drop, not the glob they do.

Baseball cards seem comparatively cheaper than other sports in my area which is why I've started dabbling with them. But I wish they had a little more variety with the base numbered cards. The designs are very plain. At least the photography is decent.

The thing about these I don't understand is that loose "companion" card. Same image as base but it says "collectors box" on back and has its own code. Overall, I don't mind these. I didn't get any rookies in my silver pack but its something new and I can appreciate that.

I pulled a Riley Greene. I didn't notice the collectors box stamp where Series 1 goes until i read this. Almost built a complete set with it. I agree with the confusion I pulled an oversized Gunnar And a regular sized Riley "Campanion Card".

You know what's at my local Walmart? Empty Topps card vending holders. Shelves bare seconds after the cards come out. The other Walmart close to me the boxes are usually there but they're all empty from shop lifting. Crazy in my area.

Topps is doing this style for probably a few reasons 1- test the marketability of selling the pins - and the oversized cards (I remember buying large cards in the early 80s alone 2- they glued the packs so “creative” resellers can’t substitute previous weighed packs with nothing in them with these 3- they must get tons of complaints from people opening retail products and not getting any autos or mem cards because guys walk into Walmart with scales and weigh boxes. Too many variables here that can prevent resellers from taking the auto boxes They should have 1- put a redemption card in each box (12 card set) which you can only get when turning into topps 2- introduced another card product in it - one chrome pack or one finest pack 3- had a topps cap for sale at 29.99 so you could wear with the pins once you collect them Cute idea. Hopefully they introduce more things like this and get rid of the retail boxes which are horrifically flawed 😂😂😂😂😂

I’m not buying any but this is exactly what I expected them to do with retail and we all can expect a couple more variations of this before the year is up just like ‘22 Chrome. wal mart don't care because its a vendor item .. I had a cashier ring up a box twice and then went to customer service to get my money back and they told me they couldn't because it was a vendor item.. So I guess as a customer since its a vendor Item we just have to take it up the arse.

I like the pin. The package looks good. But from what I've seen in the boxes(Hobby) I've opened. Off-centered cards, damaged cards, scratched cards. I think Topps has just said. This is our last year so who cares. Or their quality control people are on vacation. 🤔
