A spaceship from Potato World crashes onto an alien planet. The sole survivor: Brotato, the only potato capable of handling 6 weapons at the same time. Waiting to be rescued by his mates, Brotato must survive in this hostile environment.

I will say that the unlock for that character seems nuts honestly. Also, I bet this character WILL get changed for the live update since any item that only has the downside of lowering harvesting is more or less free for this character.

Hunter doesn't need a nerf/shouldn't be nerfed simply because everything fell into place this run. You had perfect stats across the board and lucky items early. In reality, the character has a lot of passive nerfs that would make it impossible to win if nerfed more; especially considering the chance of a run like this happening.

Looks like the Crit multiplier get bigger as you upgrade the weapon, starts at 2x and ends at 3x.

For unlocking the explosion character I just went for the Bull. Run away, then run into a crowd of enemies.

I considered Bull, but instead opted for One-Armed + Shredder + Aim on Mouse Click. Wave 9 aim off the screen until you get a nice clump to blow up 💥

The craziest thing about Brotato is that the Demo was a full game, the early access is like getting a sequel, and the full release still has surprises. It's just a great thing getting better with no downsides. It's going to beat my hours in Skyrim...

Yup, even with that a series of bad dodges will shred your health in seconds. Reto just Neo's his way through the game and makes it look simple to us scrubs xD

Interesting. I actually dont think baby with a beard is a bad item for this character though it does seem contrary to the strengths of the character the weapon. Its like an 8% damage decrease and 4 damage flat decrease on the crossbow (1% damage down for every 5 range lost due to Hunter and 10% of the range as flat damage for weapon) but it gives you some crowd control capability in return. Probably worth it and to stack some ranged damage so your slowish crossbows can destroy big bois while the little bullets take out the massive amount of roaming tiny people.

crossbow seems like it's going to be an extremely niche weapon based on this run. not the kind of thing you'll be able to run on most characters without it being objectively inferior to some other ranged options with similar, or easier requirements to spec into. If the amount of mobs was anything to go by, it seems like attack speed may have just gotten much more important, as even with 4x piercing on every shot and nearly 150 attack speed you were still getting close to overwhelmed at points

@@1TieDye1 but you also have weapons like slingshot or shurikans. bounce is not only more consistent than pierce, but they have better damage scaling too

I hope there's a big pool of elites and their order is all randomized. Also, for the attack that the Rhino-Elite (that's what I'm gonna call him, don't care what the dev says) probably takes inspiration from that enemy in EtG that is like a Shark-torpedo. So maybe call it torpedo attack? Torpedo dash?

Even on other characters range is better for the crossbow than ranged damage, since range comes in such large amounts. A level gives 15 range, 10% of which is 1.5. A level gives 1 ranged damage, 50% of which is 0.5. So range is 3 times better than ranged damage for the crossbow, at least from level ups

Ngl, the elites are kind of a good benchmark on if you can take down the final boss/es honestly. And you are rewarded for having a build that can take the elites down with a free legendary item as well which is pretty cool in fact.

Maybe it's Harvest downside should be replaced with something like "Deals less damage to nearby enemies". Would make it a pure ranged character.

i feel like this character and the ranger should have their minus be to armor rather than hp, the ranger archetype that they are going for with these characters are usually armored very lightly if at all, so having armor be the limiting factor would make more sense in my opinion

I tested out the new Chunky when I saw the update... Holy hell. Chunky w/ Spiked Shields now, when he basically has to live off of his huge Health pool (and I was up around 170 by run end), Armor and Dodge, and food... was NOT worried at all by the end. The Blunt/Medieval tag as well was a nice change to the Spiked Shield, which just helps Chunky more. Also, was looking forward to see your reaction to the new content in here.

I remember you once said "Crit is great stat to crash so you can boost your other stats" and that besides like 1 or 2 builds, crit was useless. Now go to today where you wish everyone was tagged for crit xD glad to see the shift over time!

The hp thing the game is rounding it up but it's either only tracking it to 1 decimal place or its 1/3 less hp. Note you need to have 20 more base HP to see a difference between the 2.

First of love u reto! ❤ i don‘t Know if this is backseating, i dont intend to backseat tho. Since the Tag-system u quickly call „XY surely has to be tagged for this“, crit in this Character tho…. Its the weapon wich is good with it. Life Steal is not a stat i would say is tagged, but since the EA launched i read many guides and tipps, also did a large amount of people say (SO I DONT STILL KNOW FOR SURE!) that the „having lots of the same weapon highers your Chance to find that weapon“ system also applies to items. Maybe u could ask the dev?❤️ do what u r doin! Keep it up maestro!!!🥰

Also, I just noticed that harvesting down items are basically a free take for this character currently. That is SO going to get changed with the live version of this update, I am one hundred percent sure of that.

they should make an item that converts wour extra crit chance into crit damage, so it becomes meaningful to go above the 100% (or maybe it's already there and I don't know xD)

That is just how this new update works, elites just give you free red items for killing them. That is just how it is now.

been trying for like the last 2 hours to get a run like you did, in im guessing 7-8 runs, i got ONE hunting throphy in all the runs, granted most runs ended before wave 16 but still... you got extremely lucky, and should not judge the charecter on this run only

@@Retromation 3 runs later, so about 11 in total and i got the god run, trophy on wave 8, but still only 1, atleast danger 5 with this guy is done now :) but it took 11 runs, to get lucky enough (also im not the best dodger). i really like the concept of a char benefitting from range as primary stat, but he is not op anymore haha
