It's funny how with the 592 xp.. the saw just looks raw and totally badass. Everything needing a wrench or Allen key is right out in the open, all the hardest working parts are easily accessible with snap-on fasteners for top fairing so you can change/service air filter & plug. The lightweight composite bar supporting the new ball bearing chain carry system with optional expandable length. Super sick... I've herd that new style bar won't bend. Like other conventional bars being functional and ok but if you pick a place to drop your big cut and it comes back on ya & stands on your blade it can crush/bend your bar. End up having to cut your saw out of the tree. Happens to all of us. Anyways the new one apparently flexes and almost bends with the chain in the hardest conditions. Bar oil feeding system is suppose to be real reliable and generous, so your buddi don't have to stand over your cut dumping in a nice stream of oil cuz your blade is catching the tree on fire🤣. Very eco friendly

What I was told by the man that builds my saws was these saws were comparable to a sick 395xp. Not impressive at all. Guess we’ll see what builders can do with these saws which I would imagine they will be like the 572xp ported they make good power.

200 and 300 series are the best saws ever made by husqvarna. I have 2 of the 300 series saws a 372xp x-torq and a 385xpw both ported one custom and one professional

@@rylanmitchell8123 I actually picked up a very mint 365 Special last week, I believe its one of the early ones because it has the black coil and no baffle inside the muffler. It is missing the serial number so I really don't know, I will run it for a while but I do think I will swap the top for a 372XPW because that is one saw I always wanted.

@@timberray9572 I looked at a 365xp x-torq and decided to go bigger. Which at the time was the top end of my budget being it was a brand new never used saw. I bought the 385xpw used with 5 hrs break in time on the fresh port work. It had about 2 hours till I had to re adjust the carb. No big deal. The 385 is straight nasty compared to the 372

@Colt Dks what? The auto tune feature seems neat but I went with the 300 series because the 500 series was still pretty new and they were working out a bunch of bugs with the auto tune and such. I'd love to have one for the simplicity of cutting anywhere with no carb adjustment. Think I'm just gonna wait for a fuel injected 300 series tho

The x cut is okay. I prefer a double skip to anything else. Never tried one of these auto tune saws but it seems interesting. 🤔 I got a 372 x-torq trying to decide on a 372 or a 572 back in 2018. Then I bought a 385xpw with a professional port job and big bore kit. So it's a 90cc with a port job. I prefer stihl chains over even oregon chains, the durability in very dirty wood is fantastic compared to other chains. My list stihl husqvarna archer oregon. The stretch on stihl chains is worse than huskies but the wear is much better on a stihl. Archer holds up forever in stretch but edge is bad. Oregon is 50 50 with a lot of stretch and med wear. Imo and that's all subjective

Have to disagree on the x cut for me it has been the longest lasting chain. It has also lasted longer for me in between sharpening, and I do a lot of firewood cutting so already downed trees are a big part of my cutting routine so dirt is definitely present and I find the x cut to definitely handle rough conditions the best. As for the autotune I have a 545 mkii and the atone tune on it has run perfectly so far (knock on wood) very snappy performance and very hard to slow down, seems to always start with 2 to 3 pulls (under 32°f) warmer Temps ot is better. Autotune is a great feature, I do worry if it messes up though that it will be a pain to fix.

@The Red well it depends on the type of wood. Usually I'm cutting extremely dirty hardwood which isn't ideal for a full skip full chisel however I do cut a ton of wood in a very short time which makes the cost and sharpening of that chain minimal while maximizing performance from my ported saws. And I've seen a couple guys have to work on them damn auto tunes mk1 an mk2 and it ended in shipping back to manufacturer to get things normal again. So I'll stick with the old school way that I know damn well works consistently with some REAL skill learned not taught. Can't be beat. Fuel injection definitely would kick its ass but I ain't yet seen a fuel injected husqvarna

@@rylanmitchell8123 the autotune is easier to service then fuel injection would be. Carbs are easiest but also need the most attention. Never had an issue with the MKii saws

@The Red I just remembered debating rather or not I wanted to send my saws in for service. I don't live anywhere close to a husqvarna dealer and that's all I run. So when I heard of people having issues I decided I already knew what I needed for running standard carbed saws. I might invest in one eventually just to run as a work saw

I bought a new Husqvarna 460 Rancher 6 weeks ago. When I purchased it, the dealer got it ready and started it at the dealership. I have not used the chainsaw yet, but I wanted to start it up and run it. I followed the instructions. After well over a hundred pulls in the rope it won’t start. I called Husqvarna customer service and they were absolutely no help at all. Here I have a chainsaw that has been started once. NOT A SINGLE BLEMISH ON IT, and they’re instructing me that I MUST have the receipt to get warranty service - even though it is clearly absolutely new. Beyond that, it has a serial number on it. This is the year 2021, correct? Should they not be able to look up the serial number and all the data related to it and the purchase that was made? There’s entire online profiles built for all of us that’s sold to marketers, and I still have to try to hold onto a paper receipt for warranty service? Shouldn’t they be able to pull that serial number and see when it was manufactured? Shouldn’t they be able to see that between there literally being no use on this chainsaw and the date it was manufactured that they should be covering the warranty work on it? Nope. Just some kid with a heavy accent saying, “yes that is our policy”.
