Finally we get some new batteries from husqvarna. The old ones were almost all the time in back order because of problems in China. Now, with new factories in Poland a new type of battery for our pro battery equipment is finally here; the 40-B140X, 40-B220X and the 40-B330X.
*From the husqvarna test sheet I can now confirm for climbing/pruning, use time for the old BLI100 was estimated at 1 hr 30 mins in a T540i ; the 40-B140X 2 hours, and the old BLI200x 3 hrs. I have no data on the other 2 new ones yet. So a 150 grams lighter climbing is now possible, with the full power of the 540i unlocked. Of coarse you could climb with a t536/t535 li-ion combined with the BLI100 to make it even lighter, but that would not deliver the same power as a t520i / t542i. Next to that, those BLI100's are out of production

Some extra info for you. The old style could handle 500w in and out. The new ones can now handle 750w so a new QC750 charger is being launched. Also now potential for larger motors on products with the 750w output.

@dascubaguy thank you very much, as I understand, a 40 b 500 x battery is also on its way, great times ahead of us. Have an awesome new year's eve!

Any feedback on the new battery series?

@mathiassmeds7806 yes, I like em, but I do notice some 'child's diseases'. Like to deep undercharging when in use. They feel strong though. There is a 500 series out now, huge and heavy, maybe good for leave blowers and such. The 100 series is still not powerful enough to drive a 540/542 to full power, but still I use em in these saws because of the weight, only in thin wood

My BLi200/200X batteries were made in Poland? Going on Husky spec all the new batteries are heavier with more run time but are seriously more expensive at the moment.

@@angelwars3176 that's true yeah, they cost more, but are better than the old series, they hold a charge longer and fill up quicker

I not know about the husky batteries in my case I am with Stihl and I have different Stihl battery equipment. In regard to the equipment I am 100% satisfied but battery technology still light years away for professional.

@sirvozelo1 well, personally I'm happy with the 540i and 542i saws, I do mostly pruning, and they will do all my 540 xp mark3 will do. From 50 cc's up I think you are right. I still use gas powered saws. I recently saw a video of that new Milwaukee battery powered saw, 70 cc equivalent. That looks promising!

@@DUTCHHUSKY66Treesandforest I have the Stihl GTA26, 161T, 220C and MSA300. The MSA300 sure is fast and powerful, I seriously doubt if any gas powered 50cc with be has fast, but is like having a Mustang GT with gas tank in the reserve. Cutting oak logs about 18" diameter 11 cuts and the top battery is out of power and hot unable to recharge back before it cools of. More than once with 4 batteries p recharged and one charger connected to a power outlet from the beginning I run out of batteries cutting wood logs for the fireplace. I am just a homeowner and just cut firewood for me and some friends, my feeling is that this batteries saws still light years away for professional use, a professional out in the woods with need a truck load of batteries for a day work, also batteries are priced like gold.
