Neewer is on KZbin. It's pronounced Newer. One of my nieces married a geek who does the electronics for marine scientists off Townsville. He says that, no matter how expensive, electronic levels need to be calibrated. I looked at my Canon, there's no way of calibrating that.

what about reducing a little bulk and faff by glueing a cold-shoe mount on the new level? And it's a nice bit of kit, that (thanks for the tip).

I use a Benro geared head. Same issue with having to reverse if pointing up (astro), but almost no play in the gear movement.

I've heard the benro is better indeed but I don't have that plate system. Maybe it's time to switch..

I've been using an "electronic protractor " for years. Don't trust bubble levels. Can you provide a link to the tripod wheels please? Maybe the whole kit .
