There's really only two main ways a spider can look. Thin and spindly or fat and bulky. And the thin type doesn't seem as realistic for giant spiders, so all fictional giant spiders end up looking similar.

I like how all the new things in Hytale are basic addons made for minecraft. Half of the game will be what Minecraft already is. And that's not taking into consideration the things minecraft has that Hytale doesn't. I can see this game being really popular at first then dying out quickly with the survival aspect. I'm more thinking roleplay is better suited for this style of gameplay and graphics.

All this with a superior combat system, building, graphics, AI, game progression etc. There is literally no reason for someone to play MC over Hytale unless he/she is 12 years old and under.

Blinking is less accurate to spiders - they have no eyelids with which to blink. Certain spiders (jumping spiders, salticidae) do have an ability to directionally focus their vision on some of their eyes, but no blinking. The movement could be tuned a bit better - right now, the movement of the legs is out of sync with the movement of the spider as a whole (especially as it turns towards the tree), revealing that the spider's leg movement is an animation independent of their actual motion. Not that it ever would not be, but it is possible that the animation could be tweaked to better conceal that. Right now it is a drifting spider - too fast, too mandibular?

12:00 or the pigeon poop lands on you it does not damage, to you or your armor, but it gives you the debuff “Disgust” which gives you weakness for 10 minute, so you do less damage for an irritatingly long time and the poop stays on your character looking gross. But then you could wash it off if you submerge in water to remove the debuff.

Carry vines with you, apply vines to (e.g.) Cobblestone or Stone Bricks, get "mossy" stone blocks… (Maybe, there'll be a possibility to "harvest" moss directly and then apply it to any surface…) Moss is wet and slippery, and it fills surface features, making any material smooth and something those giant spiders can't get a proper hold on. Also, these spiders look a lot heavier than those in Minecraft, though being roughly the same size. So I think, this would be a legit way of protection against them. :-)

You should look up Xerneas. It's a blue/black deer legendary with rainbow antlers. That deer reminds me of that, although there's a gen 5 pokemon named Sawsbuck and it has antlers for each of the seasons, with branch ones for summer that look like that main deer.

Instead of using a special block where spiders can't climb, you just need to put an extra layer of blocks that blocks the spider from climbing higher (i mean don't do a flat wall).

I feel like the hytale creators just create animations and trailers for jordan, then listens to Jordan's ideas for the game, then delays the game to add those new features in and then restarts the cycle but with a new animation or trailer.

Arks monkeys and some other critters in that game will throw there poop at you, and it will even block your screen with a brown splotch. Also I agree I love eating meat, not meat with bones n stuff though, I only like meat that is either shredded or breaded. But I also don't ever ever want to commit the act of killing the animals myself personally. So I get you there.

I think honey would be good for the spider defence thing, it can go on floors and walls but in order to get it you have to get into a bee hive surrounded by bees + bears could be common in that area so you have a challenge getting it.
