I bought a Hyundai Venue SX Turbo(petrol) a year back and I will tell you why I chose it over Brezza, Ecosports, Nexon,XUV 300. Brezza- Top variant offered is 13+ Lakhs on road and the features provided in top variant is quite old fashioned compared to venue. Interior is ok and back seat has good leg room. Mileage friendly but not premium drive quality(engine). Ecosports- Looks huge from outside but the inner space is almost same as Venue. Top variant offered is 13+ Lakhs. Interior is good(somewhat old fashioned) and even the drive quality. Height is more than all other compact SUV's but a decent vehicle to go for. Nexon- Privileged to be India's safest car and 5 star rating. Feels like hatch back from inside and the interior is not that great(quality of material lacks). Engine power and perfomance is not as good as venue. Colors combination is great. XUV300 - Due it's less dark interior, the car looks spacious and the interior quality is decent. Different driving modes and the suspension is good comparitively. But if you really need to feel that engine power, you need to invest 13+ lakhs in top variant. Better leg room at the back but the boot space is too less. Drive quality is ok. Now coming to why I chose Venue SX Turbo: Onroad price is 11.6 lakhs and offers quality of features. The interior has a premium look and a very good quality of material used. The steering wheel and gear box includes a fine leather. The smoothness of the engine while driving and that feel you get when the turbo engine kicks on is really amazing. The quality of seat is really good as well. I have often heard people saying it looks like a hatch back and stuffs. The reason being it has a dark interior which makes the room look quite compact. The back leg room is quite less and the reason being greater boot space(350L). You can easily fill luggage for 4 people. I have droven nearly 11000 km now and trust me I don't even regret a bit. To be honest, the top speed I could touch was 170 and the a little vibration was felt after 150kmh. Mileage is a little draw backup but Hyundia never compromise on the engine and drive quality. This was not my review but only my personal feedback. Some expect the features and quality of SUV in a compact SUV which is unfair as the name itself says. So my choice is as follows: 1) Venue 2) Ecosports 3) XUV300 4) Brezza 5) Nexon Again I would like to say this is not a review and only my personal feedback

@@drravi131 The mobile charger comes at very lower cost around 150. I would suggest you to fit single din music system from a trusted brand rather than Chinese product for which u r investing and risking more than 15 thousands. But in other brand like Sony you are in little bit in risk of fault which is merely 3500 to 4000. For GPS u can use ur mobile phone seamlessly. Otherwise the Video player and "Android" system are just distract for the driver. Be safe!

I took test drive of bs6 Nexon... And my observations are: -- Super macho look... Attractive interiors. --Bit claustrophobic in the rear --Absolutely spacious and safe feeling the front seats ---Again and again I am feeling that third passenger sitting the rear center seat definately feel irritated by unnecessary protruding of the ac/blower unit which can be seen any most of the cars now a days. This makes the premium cars feel as cheap in the rear seat. Good thing that tata has removed the stearing wheel controls even in xm model and instead of the same, availed three more features which is good value for money. Reverse parking is bit tough without camera in Nexon.

@@harshaddhavalikar9123 Thing is, Even after knowing how much efforts and progress Tata made in its automobile industry, We indians will still buy Marutii k tin k dibbe or Hyundai. People really need to change their mindset and give Tata a chance. Well, i feel even after producing the most VFM keeping in mind the safety and comfort of indians, Tata lacks in its "Marketing Strategy" if you go to Tata Dealers, firstly they have very poor marketing strategy (very minimal discounts and very few incentives are offered to the buyers) . Secondly, the staff is highly impolite. This is something Tata needs to work on. They need to understand that the problem is within its management and not in the production.

Bought Nexon XMS Diesel variant and happy with the performance and drive capabilities. And in terms of handling and safety its damn confident, i was overspeeding around 120 kmph in NH, suddenly a parked bus trying to take U turn , and i applied all force to brakes and steered towards tail of the bus. And it was damn smooth & confident. Was able to stop the car in less distance and quickly, Thanks to Nexon 🥰👌

I believe when you are going for suv or compact suv.. then going for diesel engine is a smart choice. Due to comparetively heavyweight of suv over hatches petrol engine doesn't give you the thrill to drive exp. Also in a bulkier suv.. its the torque that matters.. rather than power.. however power is also equally important bt my personal choice is torque over power when we consider suv/compact suv.

Both are turbocharged petrol engine, so be ready for delay in acceleration and low mileage, and once the turbo kicks in you have power. Dont know about venue, you will have to take a test drive. But as nexon petrol owner 1. Acceleration is good if rpm rises above 2200. 2. In traffic it is really tough to drive this car due to turbo lag, one needs to continuously shift gears and pick pace. 3. Mileage is just hovering around 10kmpl in city, may increase on highways to 16 or 17 kmpl, but frankly ask yourself where you will spend max time, Highway or city traffic. 4. Sports mode is best, City mode is just acceptable, eco mode🤦🏻‍♂️ If mileage is biggest concern, stay away from turbo petrol, buy any NA engine or if nexon then look for diesel, but will go above your budget. Check the price , safety features and compare with Venue, be wise with your money. If low mileage is not a problem, you will be happy with overall performance of nexon petrol

Major difference i can see is , 1 safety wise ,build up tata is best 2 feature and smooth driving experience specially from petrol mah be hyundai will take over.

I am a Nexon XM diesel owner. Completed my 1st service. Till.now satisfied with my car performance. Diesel average on display showing 21.5 but in actual it is 17-18 km/liter in city mode only with Ac ON. I feel accuracy should be there for mileage indicator. I feel after 700km slight engine noise is audible inside the cabin. I am talking about old Nexon 2019 model. It feels like I am driving King type car. Tata has bright future. 1st service was good. They took Rs450 and gave me one oil and asked me to put inside diesel tank when I full the tank with diesel. He said fuel injector will be safe. Plz can you make one video on this . I testdrove the facelifted BS 6 Nexon just yday & it's outstanding.The turbo petrol 1.2 is 120 bhp now & the amt jerks which were there in older model have vanished in the facelift.

I m no expert but the updated amt petrol is way better than the previous version.10 bhp improvement & almost negligible jerks.

If the old design doesn't bother you then YES go for it. But keep in mind that the old Nexon lacks in reliability and have thoda sa vibration in the cabin issues.

Venue is like tall hatchback only. Nexon feels solid, planted, safe and much more comfortable on long rides. For city only you can go with kwid like hatchback. No sense behind venue. I don't understand where it sits. You will feel that if only city rides are there or if you have more long rides or bad roads than also you will find after few months that venue can never be the best deal over nexon.
