Nice video👍 In my opinion, Hyundai Should discontinue Venue S DCT and add 4 trims to Venue (rest all trims remain same with BS6 engines): Venue S A (AMT, 1.2L petrol) Venue SX A (AMT, 1.2L petrol) Venue S A (AMT, 1.4L Diesel) Venue SX A (AMT, 1.4L Diesel) These are to attract buyers from Breeza, XUV300, Nexon & some from Seltos 😏

Very informative! I bought home SX 1.0 turbo petrol manual last month. Denim blue colour is eye catching 😀 From my test drive experience of all cars in this segment I felt Venue is best choice in petrol engine. EcoSport is good when it comes to diesel. As an automotive engineer I can say that diesel engines are slowly fading away in Indian market because of tough emission norms and rising diesel price. Electric vehicles are trending in automotive sector. We should not be surprised if electric cars-for city commute, petrol cars- for inter city commute become standard in 6-7 years down the line!

+Viral Shah Here the selection completely depends on one's choice and preference. Talking about Hyundai Venue AMT the Venue has what it takes to announce Hyundai's arrival to the compact SUV segment, offering well-made, premium feeling interiors, features and refinement at prices that compare well to the competition. The ride quality is well-sorted and even if you take that speed breaker a little faster than anticipated, the suspension doesn't thud over it and the rebound bounce is well-controlled. On the other hand, the Nexon AMT feels more convenient to drive than its manual version. The AMT is on offer in the top of the line variants of the petrol and diesel versions both. Both engines feel equally refined but when it comes to throttle response, the petrol shows a slight jerkiness while the diesel feels smooth. Interestingly, the default mode in Auto is City, and the biggest advantage of the AMT is the convenience it offers in traffic. The AMT does away with the clutch pedal and as you don't have to change gears yourself, it makes for far more relaxed driving. If you are travelling less than 50-60km a day, opt for a petrol car instead of diesel. With the extra Rs 1-1.50 lakh spent on a diesel purchase, you can actually drive a similar petrol car for as many as two years! A diesel usually makes sense if you are driving above 60/70km a day. So, do your maths carefully. Also do take the test drive for both the cars to get a clear understanding for the ease and comfort offered.

+Parbat Singh Hyundai’s Venue is delivering where it matters the most: a healthy list of features, a big boot, comfortable ride and appreciable quality. Sure, it could’ve done without a few silly feature omissions and with a slightly wider cabin. But other than that, the Venue doesn’t leave much to want. The turbocharged petrol as well as the diesel complement the Venue’s city-focused character beautifully. At the same time, both motors feel leggy enough for highway runs. On the other hand, Mahindra’s XUV300 gets a whole lot right. You get a bucketful of features, the quality of materials is positively refreshing and to top it off, it's comfortable to drive daily and hoon on weekends. Well, we were a bit underwhelmed by the space the cabin offered. And there’s no other way of saying it, the boot space feels small for a car this size. Also, Expectedly, Mahindra has priced the XUV300 at a premium compared to its immediate rivals. If we talk about Brezza, it is available with Diesel engine only. But if you want a reliable, stylish and a well-equipped SUV with adequate performance, it would be a good option. Moreover, take a test drive before the final call.

Due to better space and relatively good interiors am planning to go with Nexon.. Given Tata Cars unreliability and niggles in nexon am slightly hesitant to pay more than 10 lakhs on Tata Cars. Dear Sir, Urgent Query regarding Venue BS6 1.5 Diesel: Please reply 🙏🙏🙏 New Diesel Engine BS6 in Venue has got strange characteristics. 1.5 Diesel MT Without pressing accelerator, 1st gear vehicle reaches 20kmph 2nd and 3rd upto - 30kmph 4th- 40kmph 5th -50kmph 6th -60kmph Even if you change gear at traffic signal, vehicle accelerates on its own and i have driven i20 diesel previously but its rpm used to be at 800-1000 with 40kmph speed attained in all gear max but no clean pulling or acceleration This is a big safety concern in city traffic especially. Please suggest whether I should continue with booking of Venue 1.5 BS6 Diesel or not 🙏🙏🙏 As of now hyundai ppl said its coz of turbocharger but xuv300 which has more torque doesn’t pulls like this. Friend's vehicle in uphill also pulls at 50-60 without any accelerator input. Is it OK specifically in city traffic ? Should I buy or not ?

Though Venue will share the same diesel engine of Seltoz, it will be detuned for a bit low power and this engine is not a turbocharged engine. So, it would be difficult to give any comment on Venue Diesel BS6 before a proper road test.
