oub2112 I think it’s really good, but I’m just not satisfied with the lowest string. I would have preferred a multi scale bass to be honest. Kind of disappointed.

Just purchased the SR30th5p used online. I had bought the sr30th4 brand new in 2017 when they first came out. It's been my favorite bass ever since and after seeing your video, I couldn't resist trying the Premium version. I actually bought it a week after getting an EHB1006ms as well. Before this month, I've only played 4 string basses and now I have a 5 and a 6.

Excellent comparison video, thank you. The SR5SM has much better attack - it's much more percussive than the others and this is the reason why I would prefer it over them.

Komorowski piękny i fajnie brzmi, ma to coś, właśnie kupiłem ;) Myślałem o niebieszczaku, ale jakoś bardziej sterylnie brzmi od dziurkowanego ;), oczywiśćie nie znaczy, że gorzej, poprostu mi bardziej siedzi inne brzmienie, dzieks za test i pzdr !

The SR30TH5P looks way cooler in this finish rather than the SR30TH5II-DEF, smokehouse burst doesn't fit the modern aesthetic. Do the resonance chambers noticeably affect the unplugged sound?

It's been 4 years since this posting of this video. I was curious as the 2605 gold hardware is holding up? Is it still gold looking or has the gold warren off. I am considering buying this new was wondering about the longevity of the Chrome hardware

Czesc Kosma, Probowales dziurkowanego fretlessa? Sie zastanawiam czy sobie nie kupic ze wzgledu na piezo. Mam Ibanez Gary Willis GWB205 swietny ale piezo z dziurkami tez fajnie by miec. Wyglada i brzmi na YT zachecajac, ale nie znam nikogo kto by juz na nim pogral. Daj znac jak bys mial okazje pograc na tym. Dzieki.

I was wondering exaclt how I could compare them, without placing a purchase of nearly £4000 to make up my mind. So, thanks for the effort, and encouraged me to stick to the hollow one, as well. Nicely done! I am curious to know what your thoughts are on the SR30TH5P? I am an exclusive SR player and am considering adding it to my collection. Based upon hearing it through my inexpensive computer speakers it does seem to produce a fuller tone in the lower registry, but I am unable to hear a significant difference in the upper registry. Would that be accurate?
