More than once have I left a salon nearly in tears. I have curly, multi-textured hair and like to try styles outside of the trends, which was not always well received. It can be so difficult to find a stylist you vibe with, can afford, knows your texture, hair goals AND is not judgmental?! Wish we had more of these unicorns in the Midwest.

I feel the hair thing haha. I use to spend money at fancy salons now I only go to a Japanese hair salon. When my hair is cut short the ends always flipped out a lot and I told my stylist how much I hated that. And she cut it so now the ends dry curled in. I can’t go back to anyone else. Why did no one tell me this was fixable!!

I love the new cut, it really suits you. I feel like the thing you mentioned about hairdressers trying to get you to dye your hair is definitely sorta an upselling tactic...if they can get you to tack on another service, it's obvi more money.

I actually have been using that shiseido serum for a while but there’s no way i would apply it like that. Way too wasteful and it’s expensive. By applying it to your hand and then rubbing your hands together you are wasting soooo much product.

@@chrissstttiiine remember your silicone sponge? Squirt two pumps on there and use that straight on your face and try that to see if you get more out of the product. The comment above is right in that a lot will be absorbed into your hands ❤️

@@chrissstttiiine i apply a little pump directly on the finger that i'll use. i use the ring finger because it is softer. then i pat that finger over my face.
