Thank YOU. I don't need 2 hours of tutorials to figure out how to plug 2 nodes and get the desired effect as a beginner :D

look these are great... for simple columns or boxes.. its adorable. But can you please do a quick video showing how to use something more custom. eg I have a globe shape surrounded by some rocks... i've used points from volume to get lots of points inside... selected one point on it then used that with attribute transfer to transfer a red colour from my one point onto the other points. Then a delete to remove the non red ones. So now i have a nice little volume of points in the globe. I can use these points with the rbd material fracture to break it apart - but the issue i have is getting the main chunk of the globe to stay put whilst the fracture pieces move. It seems nigh impossible wiith this sop basedsetup ?

Hey Anthony, great question! In fact pinning pieces is quite straightforward. There are multiple techniques how to achieve this effect. In your setup I'd chose the simplest way and group the pieces you don't want to be affected by the simulation and set their @active attribute to zero. Have a look at this .hip, it doesn't even contain much VEX :) www.entagma.com/downloads/pin_RBDs_01.hip Cheers, Mo

I have been struggling with this for weeks... I am destroying a building but want to break it apart at separate times with varying glue strengths. Kinda like the top gets cracked and broken, it stops for a moment looking like it may or not break, then it all comes down. Is there a way to turn on and off groups strength at certain times?

Cool but my system is slower than yours. Mine is dual Xeon 2697v2. Please tell me what is your processors configuration?

Threadripper 2950x. But what you're most likely referring to is a sped up video when it comes to simming/rendering. Ain't nobody got time to watch this in real time! :) Cheers, Mo
