Now imagine if real physics were added to interactions... like for example if you touch someone's head, or even yours hands claps together, hand doesn't just simply pass through the textures, but actually simulates a touch and collides with the surface... also with selective privacy mode if maybe someone might feel uncomfortable, I think in something like this it’s quite important- it seems to me that this would be so cool and feel much more alive :0

Boneworks-style physics in vrchat would be awesome, but I can't imagine they'd try to do that any time soon. They already struggle with performance and consistency in user-generated-content, imagine how complicated a whole physics engine would make things haha

Can't get this to work on my npcs. I had to use a combo of dynamic bones plugins and dynamic colliders combined with bone followers on a player based hand tracking system I built using sphere colliders Worked great and tried using the physbones system but nothing works

I'm no game dev but I imagine bug squashing and SDK feature updates are separate teams. A game will always have bugs in some form and new content updates doesn't necessarily equal negligence on maintaining the game's ability to run for everyone. It's also worth mentioning that games will always have bugs in some form and crashing can sometimes be a hardware issue completely outside of the dev's control.
