Honestly, until seeing you use the crafter in every farm you set up I forgot it's so versatile. I definitely need to start updating some of my farms.

The crafter is the single greatest technical addition to Minecraft in recent history. It can be used for SO many applications.

Replace the observer with a redstone torch and put redstone dust on the grass the sheep stand on. Saves on size and materials.

Btw, if there are more than 1 dispensers around the sheep and being activated at the same time, you will get dozens of wool. I got the trick from a Japanese KZbinr few months ago.
