@@autumnwinter3639 the anonymization of Fron Reilly is most likely intended to mimic the style of a news headline (this is a compliment! it implies that the topic is newsworthy). in news headlines, names are usually omitted to save space and to emphasize the main reasons a reader might take interest in a story. Compare these headlines: 1. "guy discovered how to make surreal minecraft music acoustically" 2. "Fron Reilly discovered how to make surreal minecraft music acoustically" The first headline maximizes the chance that a reader who is interested in minecraft music will go on to read the article. This is a large potential audience. The second headline will cause some minecraft fans to skip past it after just a few words because they have already noticed some key info from the headline, a name, but have not noticed anything that matches their interests. Sure, the second headline will lead fans of Fron Reilly to read the article almost always, but they represent a much smaller potential audience than the minecraft fandom. So the second headline is probably worse at bringing exposure to Fron Reilly, and certainly worse at exposing him to _new_ people. The first headline style attracts more readers overall, so it should be adopted by any newspaper. I have seen it often. Omitting the person's name from the headline does not mean fully anonymizing them - their name will usually be given in the first few sentences of the article, if it is available. On KZbin, the uploader's name is displayed prominently above the comment section. So, naming Fron Reilly in his comment was probably not the _best_ way for murraymoore8668 to show respect to Fron Reilly. The best way was likely the way they chose - to commit to a joke style, parody, and make it as entertaining as possible for us, thereby bonding with other commenters over a shared appreciation of the content, and creating engagement that drives the youtube algorithm to recommend this video to more people. Murraymoore knows that we are all already here, and promoting this video or its creator to us by name would be silly. But a commenter _can_ increase our appreciation for the content by pointing out more things to like about it. Such as: it is like minecraft. I hope this helps!

My suggestion would be to add a disk at the end controlled by a lever, which would be moved by a by a large-thread screw, that would allow all of the strings to be tightened or loosened together, so that the pitch could be raised or lowered without having to make a new instrument each time. This would allow playing in different keys (less boring in the long run) for this amazing sounding instrument. Great invention!!

Imagine all the different sounds you could get with just simply tuning each string this thing is super cool. Well done Fron.

This sounds like running metal rods across crystal sheets, so interesting that this combo of all things mimics that. I love how organic it sounds

Really cool how it can produce such a fantastical sound. Feels like it belongs on a movie soundtrack about loving life.

This is legitimately the coolest thing I have ever seen. Inventing a whole new instrument has got to take a whole other level of talent and creativity.

Sounds like an orchestra tuning up for the beginning of a performance...but in the pattern of a windchime🎉

Sir I ask, do you know the Gospel of Jesus Christ? Jesus is the Son of God, and sinners have a hope of eternal life and eternity of peace with God, but we must have faith in Jesus Christ to be Children of God, Sheep of Christ, read these verses: ( if you want to use the Bible version I use, I use New King James Version, NKJV ) Isaiah 7:14-15 Read all of the quotes of Jesus in the 4 gospels Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts 2:21, 2:38-41, 3:19, 4:10-12, ( I'll keep adding to this list )

If you can find a way to make it do different notes, it would work well. Perhaps create a ring causing tension on the strings so that you can move the ring to get the notes.
@drewbabe3 ай бұрын
yeah, i imagine either having two strings or a ring and a string, then changing the turning operation to a footpump, would really make this thing fun to play
