The screws on the side stand out quite a bit, to me. Maybe they should have used screws with a flat head or cover the screw top. The color of the plastic seems a bit dark. But I like the idea. Thanks for the video.

Not too sure of this product because of it attaching with adhesive. Once it’s on, it’s on. What if you need to remove it for maintenance?

Shiva I apologize for bringing an issue different to the video subject but Im very concerned...please give me some advise: in January 31 2024 model 3 2023 my wife just had the car complete stop by it self even without using autopilot, just driving in town, went from around 35 miles per hr to 0 in a second, someone almost crashed into her but thank GOD the person was able to abruptly avoid her, she is fricking upset with me, because I pushed and pushed to buy this car, now Im afraid to take to the service tesla center because I installed a simple mini display so you can see the regular information in front of you, you know those hanshow ones, now Im afraid they will blame it on the aftermarket part, even If I remove the display the computer on wheels will tell the service tech I played with it's harness obviously all is recorded in the car computer.... Im starting to regret buying this car....suggestions please!! greetings from Rio Grande Valley (Space X Boca Chica home), the most important thing is ....have you heard of this happens to anyone else, not using the autopilot or cruise control, the car to stop like that??? Thank you!

I am sorry to hear that you had this issue. Was that just a single incident and the car is good now? Or did the car completely brick and you had to tow it? Regardless, this doesn't seem like an issue an instrument cluster could even cause. For a 2023 M3, the cluster is using a computer output plug (meaning, this cluster cannot even send any command to the car). Second, if let's assume the cluster drained your 12V battery, the car wouldn't just shut down. You would get a message saying "reducing power due to the 12V battery degradation, take it to service etc" If you are going to take it to service, I would remove the cluster and all the wirings and you should be fine. In my experience, Tesla doesn't really car you have these stuff installed but they are unable to troubleshoot car issues if you have some of these components installed. So, removing it allows them to troubleshoot issues. However, what you are describing to me doesn't seem like a cluster issue at all. I have heard many instances of Tesla phantom breaking (usually happens in autopilot) but sometime it does happen without autopilot when the car thinks impeding front collision. Hope this helps!

@@ShivaSapkota Thank You for responding, it happened only once so far, yes it seems that the car "saw" something and determine to stop quick and fast, my wife told me even her seat belt activated like preventing a frontal crash, the interesting thing is that Autopilot was not even on, we don't even use Autopilot we live in a relative little town.... last night I told her that if if does it again I will take it to the nearest Tesla service center which is close to 100 miles away (I really dislike this, I had always had cars from local dealers, you know like 5 to 10 miles away... now with the Tesla that sucks... since we purchased just a little over a year ago, it has not visited the service center for nothing, it had been very reliable until now.... Overall design is nice, but cup holders not big enough. They shouldn't have notched in with the inserts. A lot of companies do that with the front inserts also. Took me a while to finally find an insert for the front that didn't have the 3 big bulb design
