Malaysia's transportation system is diverse, comprising various modes to facilitate both urban and intercity travel.
Kuala Lumpur serves as Malaysia's primary transportation hub, with Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) facilitating international flights. The city also has an extensive network of buses, trains, and the KL Monorail for local transportation.
This is the reason why Kuala Lumpur has a uniquely and best public transportation system in order to provide a great access for all travellers to visit the city centre from Kuala Lumpur International Airport KLIA to KL Sentral. In 2023, I heard the Malaysian Government also plan to upgrade the major Transportation Hub KL Sentral station soon.
One of the famous and most visited cities in Malaysia is Kuala Lumpur. As the capital and largest city, Kuala Lumpur is a vibrant metropolis known for its iconic landmarks, modern infrastructure, cultural diversity, and bustling street life. Notable attractions include the Petronas Twin Towers, KL Tower, Merdeka Square, and the lively shopping and dining district of Bukit Bintang.
In addition, Locals and tourists can now explore the newly opened attractions in Kuala Lumpur namely The Exchange TRX and the World's Second Tallest Building The Merdeka 118. Fortunately, with the existing public transit in Kuala Lumpur such as the LRT, MRT and Monorail Train Rail Stations, visitors can access the place easily and visit the other popular destinations in Malaysia to explore Penang, Malacca, Johor and etc by taking the ETS Train, KTM or Bus Express.
The New Terminal Bersepadu Gombak (TBG), KL Sentral and Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) In Kuala Lumpur serve as an important Public Transit that connect cities in Malaysia especially the urban and rural areas in Peninsula Malaysia.
In summary, the Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) is a major bus transportation terminal in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. While KL Sentral, short for Kuala Lumpur Sentral, is a major transportation hub in Kuala Lumpur.
Upon completion, sooner or later the New Terminal Bersepadu Gombak (TBG) could be the next integrated transportation hub and serves as a central point for various modes of transportation, including trains, buses and taxis, facilitating convenient connections for commuters. In my opinion this will also indirectly reduce the traffic congestion in Kuala Lumpur City Centre because most of the Public Buses don't need to enter the City Centre and drop the passengers at Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS) like previously.
The best part at Terminal Bersepadu Gombak (TBG) all Malaysians and international tourists can save more time and easily travel comfortably to East Coast Malaysia without going to Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS). From KL Sentral you can take the LRT Kelana Jaya line to LRT Gombak Station because the New Terminal Bersepadu Gombak (TBG) is strategically located next to Train LRT Gombak Station.
The East Coast of Malaysia is renowned for its picturesque landscapes, cultural richness, and traditional charm. It includes states like Kelantan, Terengganu, and Pahang. Visitors often explore the beautiful beaches, cultural sites, and experience the local traditions. I believe this is also one of the reasons why we need to have this New Terminal Bersepadu Gombak (TBG) near the Capital City of Malaysia.
If I'm not mistaken one of the ECRL Station will be located near the LRT Gombak and Terminal Bersepadu Gombak (TBG). Can't wait to explore and unveil the ECRL Station soon. But first things first let us explore the existing bus terminal (TBS), the public transportation hub (KL Sentral) and see the new bus terminal (TBG) latest progress. Watch the video to find out more.
