Fantastic! Their team is rising and this will be a nice boost for the program. I also hope UNI comes up with a great plan to support their team.

This is very awesome. Great to see what Dresser and Pollard are doing for wrestling. A lot of people, and Iowa State alums and Iowa State sports fans don’t know or appreciate the incredible history of ISU wrestling. It is historically the 4th most decorated program in the country. About 40 years ago it was #2 in history behind Ok St. Then Iowa had their run in the 80s and 90s, then Penn St. Now ISU is probably 4th all time, but that is still amazing. You could even argue to put ISU above Ok St since a lot of their titles were in the 20s - 40s and does anybody care about that far back? Anyway, glad to see a great program like Iowa St Wrestling getting a facility like this. Well deserved! GO CYCLONES!!!

Beautiful. Only question I have is if there is only locker room and restroom for the facility or is there room for expansion to include a women's locker room and restroom. Though it may not be an immediate need, I think it would be short sighted to not include facilities for women (or at least planned expansion), considering how quickly the women's sport is growing.

It is an existing building, so most likely they would remodel it or figure something else out when the time comes. I also noticed there are no offices or conference rooms shown. "The proposed location is the All Iowa Attack basketball fieldhouse next to the Sukup Basketball Complex. Fundraising is underway to purchase the building, with a target opening of fall 2025."
