Looks good for the most part. I would like to see some more dirt road stuff. Mainly more tracks for the trucks and ground deformation. Real trucks tend to tear things up and you have to find new lins around nasty ruts.

Husets Speedway should be a valued addition. The dirt community have been calling out for new tracks to be added to the roster on the forums.

Yeah Daytona is the tricky one, they actually played a game or games there in the early years of it. Everything of course is behind paywall for the newspaper.

BMW M2 is in rf2, it's pretty good. It should drive like a more powerful, more nervous GT86. Fits between the Mazda / GT86 and bespoke GT4 cars

@@kneebon5 The few dozen Australians who run it should be quite happy lol. I just hope it's better to drive than the current Supercars. Not sure how because I don't think they've changed much internally, but maybe iR has some cool physics updates, I dunno.

@@kem0n0.kokomothe Gen 3 cars should be different to drive than the Gen2 (current cars). The Gen 3 has way less downforce and less in car adjustments. It’ll be slower than the current cars most likely at most tracks

Debris refresh looks interesting. Now there might be penalties for taking esporf lines right on the edge of the limits of getting a 1x. Also unknown screenshot was the red bull ring between turns one and two.

The Supercars aren’t GT3”ified” they’ve had the downforce cut out of them by around 30% with a lot more category co trolled components. The current ones on the service are on average 2 seconds a lap faster than the new gen. Closer to 4 seconds a lap faster at Bathurst. And hopefully they get the sounds right as well. The ford has a 5.4 litre quad cam and the Camaro is running a 6.0 LS. They sound amazing

Stafford is not getting refreshed its just stuff that will be in the nascar game

@@kneebon5 Well... they did go down to Stafford and record a couple modifieds, which they haven't implemented into iRacing yet but maybe, just maybe, if NASCAR '25 has a career mode it will include a modified level, which will need short tracks like Stafford, which then they can use that model in iRacing, although I guess they could just use the old one... me and my tortured logic.

Yay, a new GT3. Sarcasm doesn’t come through in a YT comment does it… Can’t believe we’re getting the 499p! I’d assumed it was locked to Le Mans Ultimate as it only races in WEC. I’ll buy it but will never race it lol Thruxton will be epic, races there in the BTCC are always great. Annnd a new rookie road car, a BMW no less. Great update iracing

@the_ultra_robot6884 'Another street circuit'. There are already way too many street tracks on the calendar and good tracks like Hockenheim, Istanbul Park, Sepang etc are not on the calendar. Track itself is mid, races are mid and the whole cringe American show is the worst part of the whole event.

Greg Hill said it'll be oval-centered update in March 2025 so I assume that's when they're shipping the new Gen 4 with all bodies they ran during that era. Seems like a big project with multiple bodies for two makes.

It would be cool on the single player mode you did need a membership to play that I'm saying this a few reasons one because we don't know if nascar 25 will release on pc as well if not what they can do with the single player mode it's a one time purchase no membership unless you want to play online with other players and you have access to all cars and series that works perfectly fine with the air I think dirt would be tough but at least that way it's not leaving PC players behind and the only option they have is nr2003 or paying for a membership on top of that buy a wheel just to have fun. Hopefully I'm making since but I think that would be cool because I doesn't take away from anything because I'm sure people will get tired of playing single player and go you know what i want to play with others so I will get a membership. I think it's a win win but I'm sure theirs probably a reason why my idea isn't good and I would love to know why

@kneebon5 I know it was on the announcement picture when Iracing said they will make nascar 25 but even then I think they said that they are not sure about it because of Iracing and people who mods. But hopefully they will release it on pc if it's on the agreement with nascar and iracing

Long post so bear with me. Firstly the negative - No-one drives it anymore? Typical from an American who drives mostly on ovals. Just because Americans don't drive them and stick to boring NASCAR races doesn't mean that no-one drives them anymore. Hop onto ANY AU server anytime of day for the Supercars and there is ALWAYS people there and not just Australians but Europeans too. I was going to add more but reading it back it was not very productive. Speaking of dead series, who cares about Dirt ovals? Most of the dirt stuff is on World of Outlaws and and better quality AI there too. Being Australian we have a big Sprint Car culture and lots of dirt ovals for the series here but NOT ONE of them has been scanned only the American ones. Keep the dirt stuff to WoO as it is a better game as far as dirt is concerned. Easier to control and feels more natural for the cars. The physics are better there and the AI is a lot better too. Now for the positive - The BMW M2 I see as a car that would be similar in feel to the GR86 but with a little more power. Updates to New Hampshire and Vegas are long overdue so no problems with them. The marbles and debris will be fun to see, though I think it will mean a lot harder for slower and lower level drivers to get through races safely, but worth the challenge. The in race UI enhancements look like they are taken from ideas in external apps like Racelabs etc. so at least people won't need those apps as much going forward if everything is incorporated. Guess iRacing needs to work with those designers and maybe either buy them out and employ those people or just work closely with them. I predicted Adelaide 6 months ago when they said they had scanned The Bend Motorsports Park back in June and that they were coming back in November. Glad to see my local circuit and one of the BEST street circuits ever getting the iRacing treatment.

Supercars aren't dead, that is certain but it still must be noted that they're one of the least popular series on iR by unique driver count and will continue to be a majority Australian attendance. And dirt-wise.. Uh, thousands I imagine? Nevermind the physics talk, last season every regular series but the wingless sprints in Dirt Oval had more drivers run them compared to the Supercars. Also I can imagine the ROI on scanning Aus dirt tracks just isn't great compared to what even slightly-noteworthy dirt tracks in the US might get. Overall you just sound personally slighted and proceeded to make more ignorant statements about tangentially-related stuff lol
