NEW: IRAN TESTS HOMEMADE PLANE ENGINE

The homegrown plane engine made by the MAPNA Industrial Group was successfully tested in the presence of Iranian President Seyed Ebrahim Rayeesi.
On the occasion of the International Workers' Day, Rayeesi visited MAPNA Company and the exhibition of MAPNA Group's technological achievements in thermal and renewable power plants, oil and gas, rail transportation, service and overhaul, air engines, car electrification, smart technologies, energy-intensive industries, health, water, etc.

Iran can produce J85 jet engine several years ago. It is not too tough had they scaled up the core engine and modifying to turbofan. And that matches the power required on 4-50 seats civil plane. The problem is who will allow Iranian planes, air worthiness in flying to their airports.
