Just won a game today with Sicilians on islands. you can actually take center islands in feudal age with donjons, allowing you to get a pretty big gold lead on your opponent. Plus the towers take out ships til imp when you can get Cannon galleons. Their super long lasting farms also save a bunch of wood over the length of the game, super underrated islands civ imo. Might even be the best.

in the star wars version of AoEII, the gungans can build prefab shelters(houses) underwater with their fishing ships, which is sort of like having a bootleg outpost in the water. I don't recall if there's anything else that makes them a "water" civ.

The upgrades (those shown in the top left) of Miguel at the end of the game are impressive. Double bit axe is the only thing you need anyway.

Few videos ago, Said that a lot of people found the channel through HC3, no, you know what got me hooked way before and I don’t know why it was recommended or came up? FOREST. NOTHING. - honestly though, it was amazing and a great introduction to both the channel and the game at first (not having watched much AOE2 before, although some other rts games)

Portuguese can be deadly on Arena. FC into castle drop on the opponents outer stone or gold and just don't stop making orjan guns. As T90 said it's expensive to counter them. Meanwhile take all the relics and build Fetorias for the late game. There is just no option. The only good counter is a mass of mangudais or cav archers.

If I had to speculate on "Why Indians?" It'd be: Cheaper villagers; faster working fishermen and camel bonus vs budings. The whole point is to speed run through that food bottleneck in the early feudal and cross your fingers your opponent doesn't counter your landing with a landing lol.

Miguel played just so bad. Once LyX picked Indians, the only thing stopping Miguel from Winning was landing. And still he got caught like a sitting duck. He deserved to lose this one. Such bad play.
