you did need Magic pen tho, all that extra magic damage still gets reduced by their base and item built MR. while it should do 1.6k, you only did 900. it is a very powerful burst but you need voidstaff here too. velkoz is great once again!!

new items are cool, generally speaking. i hope they try to keep as many items as possible in the game, to make the game as expressionable as possible. but maybe keeping very low playrate items in the game, doesn't make sense from a maintenance aspect. but im allowed some wishful thinking.

so this season is, you get hit by one spell that will do 35% of your hp if you're an adc, then the stormsurge procs, it leaves you under 30% hp, then shadowflame procs and you die if you get hit by another spell, it will be fun playing an adc in season 14 xD

Lets be honest, playing ADC has been hell for the past 5 years, wether it was Assasin meta, bruiser meta, tank meta, mage meta, whatever it was, ADCs would blow up within 0.25 seconds if they were lucky

​@@viker9547 Basically there is 2 factors that can be attributed to the hell that is playing ADC today, one is the Ardent Censer meta from 2017 which led to Riot making sure comps that revolved around making the ADC immortal wont be really viable, and the other factor is mobility creep. Every champ after VelKoz was released (2014), has some sort of mobility, wether its a dash or a speed up, this kind of abilities are exponentially better on champs that can threat an ADC, compare something like Ezreal one of the safest ADCs one can play, his E has like 16 sec cooldown if he doesnt hit his Q, while K'Sante has his dash every 3 seconds, Qiyana has 2 dashes and a speed up, Zed can gapclose from a mile away, etc. And last but not least, midlane and jungle champs that you usually find in SoloQ hit their powerspikes at 1 and 2 items, while ADCs still hit their powerspike at 3+ items just like 10 years ago. ADCs are basically outdated when it comes to itemization, and at the same time cant be buffed to increase their survivability.

I feel like the new items suit vel'koz support more than midlane, since mid'koz usually prefers sustained dmg unlike supp'koz who focus on making a great first impact in a fight. Since liandry doesnt give mana anymore mid'koz doesnt really have an option to go anything else but full burst right? What is your opinion in this regard azzapp?

i think you should go with that AOE burn on ultimate spells item, it gives mana pen and DPS, if it interacts well with Koz's R it should be pretty much the same or better as supkoz, at least i think, it'll all come down to the items balance

If it makes a pool of dmg per enemy hit it could be nice as mid'koz but as supp'koz I believe just trying to hit one Q and delete an enemy seems more usefull. Maybe you could go something like the item we r talking about, liandry and horizon focus for a more supportive playstyle against tanks

Well the only reason supp focuses on first impact and mid focuses on sustained damage is because of itemization. It might change in the upcoming meta.

@@david_ace yes in bronze, in higher elo people kite his R and he is useless, only viable spell is his W so you can catch people, you can stop recalls or make enemies walk a different path. Sustain? you mean that juicy 20heal from R tick? XDDD what vlad does? he Q and he heals for 1.5k hp, what cassio does? she hits Q and she heals for 100hp+ every E, Swain has no sustain, untill you hit Es and Ws which is almost impossiblee to hit untill some1 is slowed or rooted

@@david_ace the problem with swain is he is early/midgame champion, even if you completly shiit stomps Syndra or Ori, they will outscales you at some point of the game, you have to finish game before 30mins or you will be useless unless enemies have like 3-4tanks, which never happens
