Some years later... but... It is not 3 mm shorter it is about 30 centimetres and that's a lot. And it is heavier because it use old (I think Ford) steal platform, while F-pace is on the new aluminium platform.

The name is a bit confusing. I was listening to a motorweek podcast recently and even they got confused. One of them thought the E-Pace was the new Jaguar EV.

They’ve messed up the by using the Range Rover Evogue platform. Hence why it’s heavy and doesn’t handle so well. Great reasoning Ciro!

Can't get over how dull the car looks from the outside (for that kind of money). The whole Jaguar look has gone backwards imho since they lost the metal jaguar on the bonnet. This new mesh grill with stick on Chinese-look cat logo looks decidedly low-rent.

Brilliant review as always. As for the car, I wouldn't go for it. Apart from that absolutely ridiculous price, I can't get used to the front nose. The design of those front lights work on the F type, but looks naff (aka onduidelik, since the vid is shot in my hometown) on this car. F pace all the way.

Jaguar seems to be following the Germans with their crap philosophy It's basically 1 vehicle inside out in terms of looks and design You have a small sedan mid and large you then get a high sedan of which is also small and large really boring

I don't know how much time they saved in putting a steel body instead of aluminum in their haste to get a small SUV onto the market which is understandable as the car market is all about survivability and being profitable but I think they should of used the Aluminum for all the reasons that they make the rest of their models out of that metal particularly seeing that the E Pace is heavier than the F Pace which is ridiculous and also all the rest of the drivetrain and brakes are under more stress and increased fuel consumption , poor decision Jaguar , if any company should know about how poor quality kills a brand it should be Jag and putting sales ahead of being market leader with materials and technology is a lesson jag should know well about .

Maybe in some cases, not in mine. I bought an E Pace P250 R Design ‘cause I need a smaller suv and, moreover, I know how many issues are disturbing the F Pace’s reliability.
