It seemed inevitable that Jaguar would make a smaller version of the F-Pace SUV, given that car’s success, and this is it: the Jaguar E-Pace. The E-Pace is a rival to other compact SUVs at the premium end of the market, such as the Audi Q2, BMW X1, Volvo XC40 and Range Rover Evoque.

Good looking car, I get my jaguar e pace p200 awd r-dynamic s,68 plate on Friday 23rd December, silver colour with cream interior and 20 inch black alloys in 9 speed automatic 👌👍

Glad to see you back James you certainly don't mince your words when it comes to reviewing cars.. I don't particularly like this type of car/crossover, its small, heavier than and F Pace and can cost as much, however Its not bad looking and it has good space inside just not much else.

Geegs read my comment again. I’m saying that JLR’s engines suck when a two litre is so underpowered and there are cars which exist with just as much power from a 1 litre. I never said that 1 litre engine should be in a crossover however... I’m just making a comparison to something like a Fiesta ecoboost. The diesel engines in most JLR cars aren’t up to modern standards when you consider the competition.

Good review.....which like many others for Jaguars cars, confirms the firm are more concerned with form over function. The interior trim and in car tech is right up there with Kia, and their pricing is right up there with...well...Jaguar! But none of that matters to JLR...it looks nice!

James Batchelor sorry my comment were towards Jaguar (in case they are reading this you know) but the whole thing just seems so cheap and poorly executed. I supposed it's more forgiveable if this competes with the X1 / Q3 but surely you'd take the X2 for similar £?

A FWD Jag that's heavier than the RWD based and larger F Pace. Well done Jag. Only you can have a smaller vehicle be the heaviest. Cost cutting everywhere. The interior is crap tastic plastic. China deluxe here
