We boarded a new ferry which started service on April 15, 2022.
This ferry runs late at night and connects Miyazaki, Kyushu, Japan to Kobe, Hyogo, Japan in 12 hours.
The new ship was beautiful and very luxurious.
The cabins we boarded were inexpensive and private.

Love the ship. It's cool that it travels at night so you can arrive at the beginning of the day. So many options for food, even breakfast. I couldn't believe the buffet was so affordable!

Why didn't they give you a hammock. They charged you enough for better accommodations, the meals were captive audience prices, way too expensive for the offerings. At least this was at night so you didn't waste daylight on it.
