I just checked Amazon. A hair over 1G for this scope. It's nice and affordable optic. I have also watched Rogee Productions on Yt. These guys are in New Zealand and use a Zero Tech on his .300 WSM, hunting stag, red deer, and some big horn sheep, sometimes on public land where the closest you can get is about 500 yards. So, yeah, this would be a good choice for both hunter and long range target shooter, even a beginner. Only thing is you might consider the weight, which is not bad. 824 G=1.8 lbs=28.8 ounces.

Remember those Japanese pentax scopes. I used one on a naseka k action for some South Dakota comps I caught a bunch of S for it but it performed well. BTW love the lamantr stock it's unique!

Looks like another good option to consider. Unrelated question, what range is this at? I'm going to be wanting to start going to visit some more places over the fall and winter as I get more into the long range stuff. Trying to see what is around here in Oklahoma. It's almost as good as a Leupold Mk5. It reminds me of the best Burris scopes, too. Very little color fringing for out-of-focus objects, high resolution, excellent contrast, and bold colors.

In my opinion, this one makes the most sense in Australia and other British colonies. The prices are much more reasonable when compared to their other options.

@@SocialRegressive yeah there is no way i would ever spend that kind of money over one of those american made premium scopes. It would have to be such a great deal i "couldn't pass it up". Like -1k usd off of its msrp. And lets be honest thats not happening.
